Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

My mom had anxiety, if the person sent over was not a right fit, they made sure to find someone that was a right fit.

The caregiver is attentive with all of the tasks that I require such as personal hygiene and things like that.

They helped most by sending good people and having good workers. They were punctual. It was excellent.
The management was very responsive to anything we needed and they tried to fulfill our requests and keep employees coming. Sometimes they had emergencies and could not make their shift but they worked hard to fill the spot.

It is a big change for us. They have helped my husband improve a lot.
It took a long time for us to find a caregiver that we were comfortable with. The caregivers are very helpful, but sometimes they put things away where I do not where they are.

When they showed up, it made it easier. They just sent me people that could lift me out of bed, which is what I needed.
They couldn't provide the continuous care I needed. It caused me a lot of stress wondering who was going to show up. They couldn't guarantee the same person. It stressed the caregivers out too.

We needed the services for three days when Frances came out of the hospital, and they were a great help in dealing with her pain. It helped me because I was unsure how to help my mom and they were wonderful at doing what was needed for her.
Right at Home was very good for us, but in the three days that we had them, they sent three different caregivers. I know it was rushed, but it would have been better to just have one caregiver.

I would recommend them because the caregiver that stays with us is very skilled, caring and loving. The residents feel very comfortable with her.

The caregivers shouldn't call out.
They could improve on their consistency because sometimes they don't always have enough people to cover for us. However, we've dealt with other agencies, and Right at Home is the best because of the owner, DJ.

Our experiences have been mixed with different caregivers. Some have been great, and some have been terrible.
The person who runs it is a very caring person, and he really goes the extra mile to make sure that whatever needs to get done gets done.

His health has gotten better because he wasn't eating when he was alone. He is now eating and has gained weight which is wonderful, and he is taking his medication on a regular basis.
I like that they are flexible with the scheduling and that they go with the need of the clients.

My wife works two jobs. I'm retired, and because of the type of insurance she has, she can't have family members take care of our loved one. We hired Right at Home, so she wouldn't lost her total insurance coverage, and we like the performance of Right at Home.
So far, everybody has been okay, personnel has been great, and I really like the way the owner presents himself. I liked that he introduced the caregivers to us.

We hired Right at Home serving Aiea, and I love it because they're good. Their caregivers are very good. They provide physical therapy, they do mom's massage, they feed her, take her to RNs, take her to her doctor's appointments, they also help her clean up the house a little bit. They would take her to whatever she needs to do and cook for her sometimes, they provide companionship and also help mom with her paperwork. We have the same person every day. I just hope that long-term insurance will help cover for the payment.

He enjoys it. He was having a lot of issues, but has improved a lot in the 2 years she has been here.
We have a great caregiver that it seems they hired just for us. She has been with us over 2 years and is a good friend to my dad. If she is not available, they bring someone else in. With anyone new, the managers will introduce us to them.

It was immeasurable. I am a completely disabled veteran and they would help me out with all of the housework, that was a big load off my back.

I had various workers come here and everyday everyone was new. Some of the workers are very good and very helpful, and others, like in any situation, just came to work.
Right now, I don't need the help as I did previously when I first contacted them. At that time, they had some gaps and openings that they couldn't fill, and that was the biggest problem I had.

They help remind me to take my medication before I go to bed. They wash the dishes and bring me water to help me clear my throat.
For a few months now, they have been changing the caregivers and whenever we like someone, they just leave. I would like more consistency in our caregivers.
