They have helped me by making sure that my dad's looked after because he receives 24/7 care. They make sure that he receives his medication on a daily basis too.
They put in a lot of effort to come and connect with us. They come and meet with me and my dad.

If the clinical staff was more organized it would have had a more positive experience. I didn't know who was coming or when.
It was a bit disorganized and seemed to be patched together. There was a disconnect because it didn't seem like there was thought about matching caregivers.

Kamale was able to be our go to person and did the best with the communication.
The head nurse who was Celeste left at the end of last year but we loved her and did the best for us.

It's very positive. The provider looks after my wife, suggest exercises, and suggests medical appliances (like a belt to walk behind her to stabilize her and safer to work with her). They're very interested in the client, they're exercising with her, which is important for Parkinson's.
I like the quality caregivers.

I get the phone calls if the caregiver is not going to show up. The problem is with staffing but I don't think they can do anything about it due to the pandemic issues with staffing shortages.
They are responsive. They provide personal care and cleaning.

The CNAs help to sweep and mop the floors, but I have to ask them to clean the toilets and showers. That should be automatic, and I shouldn't have to ask them. On the first day, they should know what to do so that I do not have to be tied up with CNA.
BrightStar Care allows freedom for me to go get groceries, go to the hardware store to do repairs on the house, and get medications for my mother.

They could have been organized and followed through. I felt like many of the changes were last minute, and they could give us a heads up about the changes.
I wouldn't rate them good, because they were unorganized. They also didn't follow through on what they told you they would do.

All the people that come go above and beyond, they are really genuine.

It allows me to work. I can do other things that I wouldn't be able to do.
They need to be more attentive and cautious especially during the pandemic. They need to get their nurses tested. Our nurses aren't even in line to get the vaccine. They need to make sure the nurses are going to bring any sickness into the workplace.

I am in California and I was always so worried when I couldn't get the metal health my sister needed because she has Alzheimer's, but thanks to the care that BrightStar Care provides she is becoming safer and more calm.
I like that the detail and the activities they offer. It very helpful for me to have the assessment of the physiological and physical health of my sister.

A lot of the caregivers BrightStar Care sent out haven't been a good fit for my mom. The caregiver that is out there now is good, but she oversteps her job description sometimes. Other caregivers don't speak English well. They also schedule people, and then they don't show up. Someone is there to make sure that Mary gets up, eats, and takes her pills. It makes it so that I don't have to worry about her while I'm at work.

We had many girls come by from Brightstar Care, but there's one that is of great help to my husband. She was knowledgeable. My daughter really likes her. Overall, the experience was satisfactory even though they haven't sent a nurse quarterly for evaluation.
