Having someone who is consistent and knows her needs is highly important.
They are very efficient and when our caregiver is not there they are good at finding a replacement.

We've had the same person for 5-6 years who used to do laundry and housework, but now visits my loved one in assisted living to provide companionship.
They are very reliable, so I'd recommend them.

She is gentle with my mom. She comes in, bathes my mom, washes her clothes, cleans up, and lots more.
When the caregiver comes in, she does everything she is supposed to do. She is very courteous.

I'm still in a wheelchair and immobile, so my helper is very good at helping me walk down the hall so I can recover and feel confident that she knows what she's doing. I feel secure with her.
They are punctual, friendly, soft-spoken, and accommodating.

If it was not for them I would be dead. When I first got them I was in better shape, now I can not walk very much and they really help me take care of her. I am 87 years old. It was a lot on me to do it all on my own.
I really like that they help me taking care of my wife. Our oldest son is a doctor and he told me to call Home Helpers. We have had them about 6 months.

My father doesn't know the benefit of the care, but it gives me peace of mind knowing that someone is there with him.
I like that the owner works well with me. If I have any concerns we can work a solution out together. They do their best to find the right fit for a caregiver.

I'm not able to be there because of Covid, so it helps.
I like the communication with the nurse. She calls me in advance to tell me when she's going. If there are any issues, then she calls to let me know. The big thing is that I have her number, so I can call her if something comes up outside the regular schedule. She responds.

The work is very poor. When they send the caregivers out they should know what they are supposed to do.
When they send the helpers out to the clients out they should make them wear their name tags. Sometimes I don't remember their name and don't know how to address.They should also have folder that they could leave with the client so we know more about what they do and about the company. I have already mentioned to the manager that they should wear a name tag but it has not been corrected.

It has been beneficial to him because he has a problem giving himself his insulin, but it would be more beneficial to have them come every day.
It's a matter of what the insurance is paying for and what they're not, but the caregiver just administers his insulin and that's it.

There are issues with scheduling. We have a lot of issues there and we don't get to keep the same person.

The communication needs to be improved when they take her to appointments. They need to tell me about what the doctor says.

It is a blessing to us just being there with her because she cannot do anything on her own.
I would recommend them as long as they come along with the proper nurses. They came here and jumped right in and started helping her when she started living with me.

They give me the opportunity to actually go take care of myself and get out of my parent's home for a little while because I'm their full time caregiver.
Everyone they've sent to the home for my parents have been very qualified and useful. They do their job. We've had some differences, but it's mostly personality differences, and that happens.

They were not able to get me what I wanted. They were sending me a different caregiver every week. They do not want random people walking through their home.

We're using Home Helpers for my dad. They were quick to respond to our request for an interview and a quote. We've had a couple of issues, but they were handled quickly. Dad has had three caregiver. Two were knowledgeable, but the other was not. Other than that issue, we're very happy right now.

I've had a couple of caregivers who were outstanding and a couple who weren't good at all. The one who's always here on time does a great job with my mom and is very caring. I've had others who came late several times, and sometimes it's been a no-call, no-show, and I have to cancel my plans. They just come and sit with her and give me time out of the house. They give me that time to go do things. A good portion of the time, we'll be gone, and my mom's in bed all day, and they're sitting on the couch. We have one caregiver who bathes her, but my mom's at a point where she's not going to change drastically.

My mother does not understand that she has to ask the caregivers to do things. My mother needs caregivers to watch her when she showers, and they make sure she takes her medicine every day.

I would recommend Home Helpers to anybody. I would tell a friend that Home Helpers does their job, are very good, and the social worker go above and beyond. Home Helpers saved my life many times. The owner intervened and got me the care I needed.

I would tell someone that Home Helpers was very flexible with their clients and they take care of their clients in any way. They were very accommodating to what we needed. It was really fun for the client to have a caregiver. The caregiver would color with the client and engage them in good communication.

Home Helpers is respectable and reliable, and the caregivers that they send are nice and treat my husband like a person. They take good care of him while I'm gone because I work twice a week. The caregivers that my husband has are reliable and treat him like a person. I feel safe that he's taken care of while I'm gone.
