Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

When someone doesn't come in or calls off, they are good at finding someone else.

I am so glad that someone is showing up and being with the client. The recent caregiver seems nice, so I like that. I am relieved that someone calls me.
It took months to find someone who could provide care. During that time, I had no idea if someone was going to come or not.

The services improved my life a lot. My experience was positive because the office was very concerned about my care.
I would recommend Right at Home because they sent me capable home health care workers. I appreciated the work that they did. Furthermore, I felt they found me coverage to the best of their ability.

The only way I can get around is a walker or cane. My caregiver has helped me by keeping my home clean.
So far I have nothing but good experiences and someone is always willing to come out if I need to adjust my schedule.

Our caregiver shows up on time, stays the full time and is always looking for things to help out. She is very proactive and interacts with my dad a lot.
I like the responsiveness of the coordinators and the willingness to work with me for both scheduling and quality of care.

It is an enormous help because I have be able to work and they allow me to do that.
They seem capable. Everyone is trying. We had some equipment delivered and it did not go as well as we had hoped. Some of the equipment was missing pieces and it's been a process trying to get the right piece.

The one I had today is excellent to me and I could never find anyone on this earth as good to me as she is. She is very nice and does her work. She does a good job. She does it fast. She is no problem at all. She treats me like I'm her father and I thank God I got someone like that. Please never move her away from me. I would like her to be able to work here more because I was diagnosed with cancer a few days ago.
The food could be improved. The dietician was here and the mashed potatoes are like a pot of hot water. I've had five home health aides. One of them had orange hair and was on her telephone and sat by the door on a chair. She was on the phone for 2.5 hours and she said she had to go. There was another that came in here and I thought she was better than the rest of them. We were going shopping. The agency told me that they furnish gas money to them. The aide went to the bathroom. She would always go in the bathroom and comb her hair. She stayed in there a long time and came out and said that she wouldn't take me shopping unless I filled her van up with gasoline. She went outside and I had to go to the bathroom. She had broken off the handle of the commode for me to get up and down. I paid $160 to get it repaired. The agency gave me a check for that.

The client is in the pretty late stage of Alzheimer's so it doesn't have a huge impact. It gives peace of mind for the family members that the client is well-cared for when we can't be there.
I think that they're well-trained. The caregivers that come out are very caring.

They can have better communication with the client. They can have better situations where they are not constantly changing the hours for my service. I am satisfied with my current caregiver. They promised me I will have her for all my shifts.

The never call me when someone is coming and they just knock on my door and here they are. They don't give me a heads-up.
I think they should have more different aides to help me out. And sometimes my house had no aides at all.

Before, I used to have to take time out of my day to do everything for him, but now our caregiver helps him and gives him helpful feedback.

I think the main thing is they come in and get the laundry done, I have trouble coming in and out with the laundry, they help vacuum and sweep, which I was not able to do when I first came home, they also help with light housework.
I like that they are pretty prompt, but we had a few problems with people coming out, and people leaving. People are now coming on time and doing what they are supposed to do.

One thing the agency has done is they clean my house, as well as coming in on time, and they go shopping.

The services are provided for my mom, who lives in Florida. It gives my sister and I a sense of relief that someone is looking out for her and that she's being taken care of. The biggest problem we have that I'd like to see improved is no reflection on the agency, but if a caregiver calls out and is not able to go, it's difficult for them to get a replacement. There's nobody there with my mom. It doesn't happen on a regular basis, it does happen frequently. I understand that it's difficult to get people to work as there's a shortage of home health aides.
The care the providers give is excellent. I can always reach them if I need to and if there's a problem they're quick to respond. They're reliable.

I don't know what I would do without the companionship care. They come in and do housekeeping. For me, it's been a blessing from God.
