Since 1984, the founders of Preferred Care at Home have serviced thousands of families providing that extra care needed to maintain independence and dignity.
We do this by sending reliable, compassionate, and affordable caregivers into the home or wherever a senior calls home to perform whatever services are needed. Some of these services include meal preparation, companionship, homemaker services, dress and hygiene assistance, medication reminders, transportation, and much more.
Preferred Care at Home understands that for many, asking for help is not easy and losing one's independence is probably one's greatest fear. We understand and want to be there for families, by their side, every step of the way.
The owners of Preferred Care at Home of Indian River and St. Lucie, Burton Collins, RN, BSN and Mallory Collins, ACNP-BC, MSN have a combined 20 years of direct patient care experience at the state's top-ranked hospital, UF Health Shands.
