I wanted to write about how pleased I was with the services provided by FirstLight Homecare of the Gold Coast. They provided wonderful aides on time and at a very fair price. They also have a wonderful relationship with the Veterans Administration.
They provided wonderful support to my family when we needed it most. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Mom still travels back and forth to Florida each year, staying down there about 7 months. When she is in Highland Beach, they make sure she is safe, eating right and taking her medicine. The caregiver even takes her for walks on the beach. We get regular updates and communications have been excellent. Without their tireless support, we could not her let be there by herself. They also made some useful safety suggestions about the condo that we are glad we took care of.

Helped us bring dad home from the rehab center after his surgery. The nurse there suggested we use them. They have made sure he does his exercises and eats well. Not sure how we would have done it without them. Highly recommended!

FirstLight has been fantastic. In addition to the attentive and well-trained caregivers making sure my father-in-law is safe, the owners have been incredibly engaged and always put his needs first. When he went to the hospital, without our asking and without charge, they came and personally checked on him each day. When he was ready to be discharged, they spoke with the doctors and case managers to make sure their care was aligned with the doctor's recommendations.

My mom has Alzheimer's and lives with us. The emotional strain of taking care of her started taking its toll on us and our marriage. Thank Goodness we called this company! While we only asked them to come twice a week, they send people with dementia training and experience and those two days have given us the break we need to keep our sanity! The owners have been through this themselves and understood exactly what we needed. One week after our first call , they had made a in-home assessment and introduced a great caregiver. Life is much better.

My mom's Alzheimer's has recently gotten worse and she now needs "private duty" care to stay at her condo in Boca Raton. After providing a free assessment, Firstlight lined up immediate coverage. Each caregiver was personally introduced and has in one way or another evidenced her expertise in working with dementia patients. After years of caring for Mom alone, I only wish I called them sooner!

FirstLight has provided a certified nurses aide (CNA) to help my father-in-law recover at our home in Wellington after double knee replacement. Recommended to us by the surgeon's office manager. The aide has a great personality and tends to his daily needs, makes sure he does what the doctor instructed and keeps him busy. Makes my life MUCH easier. The caregiver is always polite, well-mannered and respectful of our home. We expect to have Firstlight keep helping him when he moves back to his condo.

FirstLight has been absolutely fantastic helping my mother-in-law! They put forth a tremendous effort identifying her home health needs and then introduced and trained an fantastic caregiver. The level of service from the entire team has certainly exceeded expectations and they've kept us fully abreast of the developments in her life from across the country. We couldn't have asked for a better partner in keeping her safe and comfortable at home.
