Whitsyms refers Certified Nurses' Assistants and Home Health Aides who offer personal care services such as assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, light housekeeping, laundry, shopping and errands. We also refer licensed nurses who can perform skilled nursing care requested by your physician in compliance with Florida State Laws, such as wound care and medication management.

My experience with FirstLight was not very good. They had a nice lady come out and interview me, and she told me that she was going to have somebody who would come by four days a week and then maybe another person for three days a week, so that my wife and I can get to know this person. I also made out a list, and they were very detailed on what was to be done. The first lady knew what she was doing, was very helpful, and followed the list. Then they sent out a new person who did not know anything, which means I did all the chores. The third person pretended she didn’t know how to work, so I had to do all the chores again. They sent another person and then my wife died, so it was not very good.

I am writing this letter to let your agency know that the aide that was sent to me, Mrs. Alexander, who has been with me for 7 months was exceptional in many ways. I have had the need for aides for both my wife and myself. I found her to be helpful, comforting and very caring. She has made my recovery from surgery seem to fly.
