Home Instead Senior Care only comes once a week just to keep mom company, and it's fine. The home aide walks with her and supervises her eating. She's very careful and very attentive. She does what she has to do and she's fine with her skills. Mom seems comfortable and she hasn't complained. They come right on time and they follow through. The management is reliable. They follow up very quickly on what you want. I'm satisfied.

All of the caretakers are professional, qualified and personable. Interaction with the "patient " is seamless and caring, with the safety and welfare of the patient as top priority. Home Instead is very flexible in the scheduling process. I do not need daily care for my wife, and they are very accommodating with a sporadic schedule.

You need to take care of yourself, before you can help a loved one. Home Instead caregivers can give you that time.

I was only able to work with Home Instead for one month then my mother passed. However, from the first contact to the last, all workers from administrative staff, billing, to the actual caregivers were wonderful to work with, understanding, kind and generous. As I had to ask for coverage very fast, they quickly worked it out and were still working it out in the end. They scheduled the caregivers we requested when they connected with my mom as much as they could, and always respected our opinions. I was out of state facilitating all this which was very difficult , but they understood and really stepped it up. Finally, I met the caregivers once in last the 4 days of my mom's life her on earth, and the connections and compassion and help that they gave was, to me, unmatchable and remarkable! My mom passed as she had wanted, in her home, in comfort, and as the best caregiver Home Instead blessed me with held her hand, as I did, and I had just said to the caregiver, Susan, I want you here with me for this. Our connection and her help and compassion and friendliness made me want her to be with me. She said she would stay. Within a half hour, my mom opened her eyes, looked past the ceiling at the 'whole' visual, and entered into the light with both of us holding her hand and crying tears of joy for my mom. I will never forget Susan and she was able to go home at the end of her shift! I'm sure at times this type of job can be thankless, and I think it is very difficult from what I experienced, emotionally and physically. I am just so grateful there are people out there willing and able to provide these services. Thank you to Home Instead and to the people that choose to do this profession.

I am somewhat disappointed with them because when you ask to have the same care taker to come back they are never available, everyday they kept sending someone new, you would never get the same caretaker twice if many and maybe three times the same person. I have to say each caretaker is nice and they do what they have to do but to be constantly train a new person all the time gets a bit much.

Home Instead was willing to work with us more than others. The caregivers were fine and they did everything that we asked them to do. The first caregiver we had was not a good match, but the second one ended up being okay.
