They are very positive people to work with and the woman we work with is very positive.
The people are pre screened.

They make it so I don't have to be down in Florida taking care of my father all the time.
I like A Place at Home because they've given us a consistent and caring caregiver.

They can make my life easier by showing up for work on time and being better trained.
They don't have the staffing, but the staff has bent over backward to help us. I know they work hard, it just is the kind of time we are in because everyone is short-staffed.

It was helpful when there was someone with him, but they hardly ever showed up.
My father has Alzheimer's and we made it clear to them that consistency was absolutely crucial, and there was none of it. They didn't show up, they didn't have the same caregivers, etc.

I liked the fact that every time they got done they kept me informed, they cared about his well-being, they seemed to genuinely care.
I liked that they kept following up with me every day, even after he went into hospice.
