About This Community
The Home Instead family network of locally owned franchise offices was developed with a passionate desire to be your trusted in-home non-medical care agency to help your family keep your aging mother, father, grandparent or friend in their home as grow older. Whether it's a few hours a day or long-term care 24 hours a day, a CAREGiver can offer Companionship, Home Helper and Personal Care services as they grow older.
Our goal is to provide hands on leadership and support to both our CAREGivers, Staff and Clients. As residents of Ocala and as members of the Marion County business community, we are proud to be active members of the Ocala/Marion County Chamber of Commerce, the Ocala Business Leaders and the Ocala Rotary. We give back to the community with our "Be A Santa to a Senior" and our "Top Senior Model" Programs. We serve our community by volunteering with the Alzheimer's Association and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Finally, with each new client we make a contribution to Interfaith Emergency Services. Our Florida License number is: HHA 299993167.

The agency handles all the logistics. The helpers are reliable, on time, accommodating and concerned about the client. I felt this was the most professional agency.

The office staff is professional, knowledgeable, courteous and timely in responses to any questions or concerns that I may have. The caregiver is very friendly and caring, putting my mother at ease during a very challenging time. She has assisted with housework, meals, groceries and appointments but most importantly, she is a trustworthy companion for my mother during this time of COVID isolation.

Our family wants to thank Home Instead Ocala for outstanding service in moving my mom from Ocala to Buffalo, NY a week before Christmas. The attention to detail, timeliness and responsiveness couldn't have been better. Dana P. put together a great game plan and enlisted Christine to accompany my mom on her journey. She was a true professional. The owner, Jim S., should be proud. It was obvious Jim, Dana, and Christine really Care!

This company provided in-home care for my mother for 7 months. They became like family to us. Always prompt and considerate. Always provided a substitute if needed.

The caregivers that Mary and Jim provided for my Dad were excellent. They were very conscientious and caring and took excellent care of him.

My mother passed away yesterday. It was a blessing in many ways; the last 2 months have been difficult as she suffered in the final stages of Alzheimers. I will always remember your extraordinary kindness during her final days in Ocala, and helping her relocate to Greenville. While I only you a short time, the wonderful way you cared for my mother and our family in a time of crisis will forever be remembered in a very special way. Mom's husband, John, is still in an assisted living here in Greenville and going well.

We only had help from H. I. for five months, as my father battled several health issues. The interactions Dad had with the people from Home Instead were the high point of his day. I could not praise them enough.

We decided not to do Assisted Living and instead go with an In-Home Care. We have been using Home Instead of Ocala for about two months now. They are fantastic, and it is really going well. They are doing bathing-help and dressing-help. They also do home food preparation, shopping, and light cleaning. The caregiver's attitude is fantastic. They are really good: a 10 out of 10.

I got indirectly involved in a placement from your agency. The primary parties interviewed three agencies and selected Home Instead. Mary went to the house and interviewed the client. The primary parties were very impressed with her and the information she provided. Once Home Instead was selected the next step was placement of a companion. Obvious care went into this process with excellent results. The family is very pleased and hs extended the service from two days to three. Thanks for you caring attitude. Dave

The Home Instead caregivers were responsible and reliable. They allowed us to keep our mother in her home for much longer than we would have been able to without them.The scheduling staff was always able to accomodate our needs in an emergency. The care givers were caring and patient with our mother and mother counted many of them as her friends. They were great!
