I found this company through my mom's doctor, Meyer Cohen, who recommended mom get care because of her constantly falling. She had been in and out of the ER, and frankly, living up here, I just cant fly down every time I get "the call". Well, we have an aide, Maria who watches her like a hawk and no more midnight, panic, phone calls. Dr. Cohen also recommended home care and they sent Ruth, the physical therapist, to help her with strengthening and fall prevention. so far, so good.

As of right now, he has Boca Home Health Care. They come three days a week to work on his leg. They’re fine. They come when they say they come. Their nurses are nice, and they’re courteous. One issue in the beginning of last year was that one nurse was getting too nosy of his medication and things in the house. He was taking certain medication and she wanted to know exactly what medication he was taking. She started opening bottles up, counting them, and then opening the refrigerator door. She got too a little personal with her job -- let’s put it that way. But other than that, I think she was more of a rogue nurse. It’s a pretty good set up. His physical therapist -- Brian -- was top notch. He was here for about 3 months, he came 3x a week, and he was with him the whole time. He’d spend an hour each time he came. He helped him exercise and my father listen to him and responded to him. He was very good at his job. If I had to make a phone call to them, they respond. If a nurse was dated out on an emergency basis, they would send one without any qualms. I just take that one point away from that one nurse. They made my father feel comfortable and gave him positive feedback even though of his condition. They make him feel better than what he is actually is.
