Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

The caregivers only come once a week for 4 hours. The impact is important because it is important that the client has somebody with her. When they come, it's a good impact.

For the times that we have had a person, it was average. There have been a lot of times when we haven't had anyone. We need consistent care on the schedule.
We struggled to find someone who could meet our schedule. There has been quite a lot of turnover.

It would help if she could get six-hour times instead of four hours. I'd like them to increase the hours. The service helps Binah.
I've recommended it to a couple of people. Even though they offered the services, I want to make sure that the aide actually follows the services she's supposed to provide. I would like it if they could give 6 hours instead of four.

The aide does a lot. She makes little things easier. She gets him to his appointments and helps him with his daily things.

She needs the care every day, but some of the replacement caregivers they send are less capable. I would like them to have better caregivers or more since sometimes they cannot fill gaps.

They are there to clean up for him because he has bad memory loss.
They provided a pretty good care aide for the most part, but the care aid left and she left the whole agency. I didn't know that and he didn't have anybody for a couple days and nobody told me. They could coordinate better with me if there is a call out.

My wife needed care, but was not always easy to deal with. The Right staff was very patient and worked well with me to find the right person. I am very impressed with their compassion and professionalism. The caregivers who came to our house were all professional and committed to giving the best care possible. They treated my wife with respect and kindness.

They ensure that they wash their hands first thing when they enter the home. They take care of my mother's vitals, they always start working right away. They always keep their mask on.
They are prompt and even if they're not here directly, they are helpful when we need them!

Sometimes it's more stressful. When I find dirty dishes or when the medication wasn't given correctly, or when aides call out and that happens often. Things like that are stressful.
It just seems that they lack communication with their staff and management. Also, some of their aides don't do their job correctly.

It has a high impact. I can't walk very good and the caregiver gives me help. They supply good caregivers to help me out.

The owner of the agency doesn't seem like he is in the right type of business. He did more talking to me and didn't seem to listen. It was like speaking to a person who is a chauvinistic male who has egoistic issues who didn't like hearing any type of constructive criticism. He seems like someone who created a company as a source of income. He is dispassionate, impatient, and doesn't ensure all of his aides are up to a more uniform standard. I've gone through at least four home health aides. The aides who had come left the place worse than they came in. Right at Home wasn't my choice - it was assigned through the VA.

She appreciated the nurses coming in every week. She missed them every week after the nurses stopped coming.
The nurses came when they said they would. The physical therapy people were also really nice. But he only came once a week and only stayed like ten minutes. Other physical therapists we had came three times a week and stayed for half an hour.
