They should only use their phone when there is an emergency or check it every 30 minutes. I would like them to check in and out of my home on time. They are not even coming in on time. One of the caregivers is never on time.
They should call occasionally to see how they are doing, and I have not been called. I also asked for a job description to go over it, and they have not done that.

On Mondays, it is bad. Some of my people charge hours that I don't have. Twice in a row, a caregiver had lied about being here when she wasn't here.
The communication is the most frustrating thing.

We always find someone that we like a lot but it always takes a while to find someone so it is about reliability.
When a person is not able to come in they could find a replacement.

The caregiver is so good, so I am not sure how he could have a greater impact. The caregiver has helped the most by giving me more time to do things that I need to do.
I like that the person they sent me does an excellent job. They did a very good job at matching. I also like that Sandy who does the check-ins has been here to make sure that I am happy.

The current caregiver has been the only one has been good. She has been wonderful helping my father get his errands run and has been patient with his memory. She encourages him to do the things he needs to do.
When we first started using them, we did have some trouble with the aides they were sending to take care of my father. The owner of the company was very receptive, easy to talk to, and easy to work with.

It's more the caregiver that the agency has provided us than anything. Lavine is her name. We trust her.
The situation has to do with COVID. It's trouble having people fill during the pandemic.

The biggest thing is she doesn't know when they are coming or they don't show up, now, she's isn't great with her phone so some of it may be on her.

It is really needed. I don't get out as much with COVID, and it gets lonely. So her being friendly really was a big help.
They should train people. Not everyone know how to make a bed properly.

He didn't want any family members to clean for him but she does it all.

The most helpful part is just having someone come in and check in. We are still working out what services we require.
We don't have that much experience with what they offer yet. As time goes on, I would probably rate them higher.

The home helpers were very attentive to my mother. We had three generations in the household. It was important to have someone here that could focus on my mother. It really helped me and helped her to be engaged. It helped her mental health as well.

The caregiver maybe could have given more personal attention to my father. She seemed to want to talk about herself rather than work or listen to my father.
The first girl that the company sent to us was good. The last caregiver that we had wanted to talk to my father more than do the work.

My mother died several years ago. I don't think they've had an impact but I don't think anyone could have but they've made my life easier.
The only issue we've had is with the billing. There have been discrepancies with the charge per hour. They've always straightened it out, though.

They were greatly needed and helped us. Out of all the people that they sent, only one was excellent. There was some confusion on what was expected from the home helper.
They were responsive with getting people to come. At one point, we had two people everyday for the day and the evening hours. They gave us coverage.

My level of disability is such that even while doing as much as I can, I can't keep up with everything. She's able to do those things that I can't do that allow me to have a normal living environment.
They're really consistent. I'm a disabled veteran and before this agency, I had a lot of other agencies and I would go weeks without service or they wouldn't do a good job. With Home Helpers I always have the same girl and she's always been consistent.
