I think the most important thing is I feel safer when she gives me a bath and seems to understand me, and she is good at knowing how to interact with me.
I like the quality of the person, Camile, who is taking care of me. She is very caring and very willing to carry out what I need.

They could just have better care providers.
They could have them speak the language.

My mother is still sort of independent but just having someone there is excellent.
I like the follow-ups, especially with Nancy. She is amazing.

They could be more attentive to what they're supposed to do and be willing to ask if there's anything else they need to do.
I'm frustrated that the aides don't come sometimes, and the quality of the aids varies.

We really feel like we are not in control of what is happening with Maria's care.
I know it is a tough time, but there is way too much turnover there.

When they are consistent and have an aide that works well, it is great.
They need to have consistency.

The caregivers have the skill to do things that we couldn't do ourselves.
They were very responsive to me when I reached out.

They sent the caregiver to help my mother when she was recovering from surgery.
They need to be a little more flexible about the amount of time the caregiver can stay for any given day.

They were unfamiliar with our house and such when they came over. They didn't know where things were or where to put things.
They were very accommodating, the people were flexible and they set things up well.

I cannot say for sure, there was times where my mom said the caregiver was on the phone a lot.

They told us that the CNAs would be awake if they were on the night shift and there were many times that they were not.
They need to make sure that what they tell us can and will be done. They did not do what they told us they would do.

It unburdened my husband and I from caring for my mom, my only suggestion is that I know a lot of training happens on the job but the caregivers need some training on basics.
I like the case management, they are exceptional.

They have made it possible for my mother and I to focus on caring for my mother. It keeps us happy and sleeping, and keeps her safe.
They could improve the quality initial coordinator that talked to us.

They are here to get the things done that I need to get done. Even if I don't need anything, they keep me calm, cool, and collected.
I would recommend them highly because of the girls, but the office staff is not good.

Sometimes the caregivers were late, and that was a little bit of a problem.
They could try to provide the same person repeatedly.

I would think they could just be more attentive. Most of them spent their time on their cell phone.
Some of the 12-hour care individuals are not as pleasant as they could be.

It made her able to get through the surgery she had.
They came on time. The two she had in the day she liked, and were especially helpful. One thing that was great was that we needed them right away, and they were able to help with that.

I need them to be able to do things better.
The people who come need to be better equipped at all levels, such as preparing meals and their ability to do certain things like pick my father up if he has fallen on the floor.

She had them for the first two weeks after surgery, so they made things easier. It helped her figure out how she is going to recover from her surgery.
They follow through. They were very responsive. The care was for my mother and they were very nice.

They help with basic household chores and provide company during the day.
Everyone involved needs to be on the same page because sometimes it gets conflicted.

They have taken the stress out of my mom's day to day living. They are right there if she needs anything.
They are professional and have a nurse check in to make sure the caregiver is doing what they need to do.

It provides a sense of security for us.
My mom has only been a client for a couple of week's, and there was supposed to be a consistent caregiver but there has been a lot of turnover.

It's very positive because given my mother's condition, the ability to have an in-home full-time provider is pretty much invaluable. There's always room for improvement and no one is perfect.
They could have a higher level of communication and more involvement of the actual selection of candidates for caregivers.

They have given my mom her independence.
They are very accommodating.

It has been positive. It's been a few weeks since we've had the service and we are on the third person, so the inconsistency is a little hard, but I know it's hard to find a good caregiver. They have been good, but they need to communicate the changes a little more.
They have been very supportive. The people who have come have been good.

We only had services for a couple of weeks, but they are very helpful. They weren't involved for very long with us, which is the only thing.
The two caregivers that have been sent to us have been very good.

I would tell them to check the different nurses that are available for care. There are some good and some bad nurses. Interview the nurses first. They have helped the most with my father's mobility and day-to-day needs.

BrightStar Care's administration is done well, but the aides did not meet expectations. It was a relief to have someone there to help Richard.

We had several problems with Bright Star. There was a constant fluctuation in the CNA's that were sent to take care of my father. For example, in one week 's time, there were 8 different CNA's sent out to the house - all extremely confusing for a person with Alzheimer's. They never new the routine, what medications to give my father, etc. There were several items taken from my parent's home and when it was reported to the agency, it was blamed on my mother as she was "forgetful and must have misplaced the items"...
