LifeTime Solutions is the private duty home care affiliate of VNA Community Healthcare. We help adults stay independent by offering unique, comprehensive services:
Homemaking/Companionship - help with cooking, cleaning, laundry, household chores and transportation, shopping, errands, companionship and safety
Personal Care - help with bathing, dressing, walking, eating and medication reminders
Live-in Assistance - an aide lives in the home and provides both personal care and homemaking

They can better help by providing a mobile app with communication.

It doesn't seem like they screen their people. They also charge a lot.
They have to get people who understand my disease.

The agency is very responsive to the suggestions or requests we make.
They have supplied us with caregivers when we need them. I haven't had a problem with them.

I have someone that needs constant care, so having someone else there to do that for me is huge.

They are with the client 3 days a week doing shopping and taking them where they need to go.

They got him in and out of bed and they would turn him.
I liked that they provided 24-hour service and the people were friendly and wanted to help.

They're very friendly on the phone. If I recommend someone they go with that. They are good with time changes.
They're pretty good, they have some good workers with them.

They don't have many problems getting here. They are here on time within reason.
I have no problems with the service. They are on the ball. Anytime I need to change my day or aide, they help me do so.

Nonna thinks she doesn't need the care, so she doesn't get a lot from it, necessarily. But I can see where it has made a difference for her and for me. There was one time when her phone wasn't working, but the caregiver was able to tell me who the provider was and make the appropriate calls and resolve it.
They have been very responsive. When Nonna didn't like the person they sent, which I thought was ridiculous and petty, the agency found someone else. They were very flexible and responsive.

We had three different people and they have been really well-trained.
I like how they are good about calling like if our caregiver is going to be late or when they are on vacation they find another caregiver for my mom.

It was on my mother's daily life, but there wasn't much of an issue of them, it was more my mother's inability to benefit from the care.
We only used them for a short period of time, but I was impressed with the managers and their responsiveness.

While she was here, it was difficult. They just weren't very good. She overstuffed my washing machine.

My dad's full-time caregiver is absolutely the best. She is just super. I couldn't begin to list the ways she makes his life easier.

The commitment and dependability of LIFETIME Care at Home has been great. I can count on them to take care of my mother who has dementia. That relieves my family.

They helped me the most by taking care of all of his physical and emotional needs. They weren't only there, but they also talked to him and told read him stories with a smile on their faces.
They provided not only incredibly competent people, but when there was scheduling problems and holidays, they made sure there was a body in the house to take care of him.

We're not used to having people work for us, so the particular aide we have does things without being asked. We're very comfortable with her.
They're quite efficient, and we love the lady that's doing our care. She's a good match for us.

The caregivers didn't let my father get away with anything and they held him to a good standard.
Both of the caregivers were very patient and took really good care of him. It was a good experience.

It makes it much easier for me. They drive me to my PT when needed. They have parking signs to let me park at the beginning. When we get to the curb, they are right there to help me.

My mother can't live at home alone. In the past, she was a fall risk, and there were times where she would fall and be on the floor for twelve hours because no one was around. We never knew if she had her medication or water. She didn't know if she had eaten, and when I would be up there, she would be dehydrated. It's alleviated all that, and she hasn't fallen since then.
My mother's had two ladies in particular. I felt that they were very compassionate and just very sweet women who were able to jump right in and take care of whatever she needed.

I like that the one caregiver we had was very caring and attentive. She was a very warm and nurturing person. The people who filled in for her weren't good at all, though. One was very lazy and didn't empty the catheter bag in a timely manner. Another was very argumentative about bathing. They did everything she wanted and it all worked very well. The main caregiver would interact with her and share stories. She was interested in her stories and in her life.

They are not affordable, I would want to recommend them more if they dropped their prices. They could have better selections of caregivers for me so I don't always have to tell them what to do.

The only relationship I have is with someone who comes every two or three weeks to clean the apartment. We get along very well. They also sit and talk with me. I am very satisfied with them and they have always been there for me. I would recommend them.

I believe that they told the caregiver that it was almost guaranteed that it would be a long term placement and that was incorrect. They don't have a way for me to sign up for less than a month. They were very helpful when they were here, but there was less and less work for them as my loved one got better.

The people are great, and the people in the office are fantastic. The aides come in very talkative and make sure that my mother gets what she needs without asking too much. They come every day. If the aide can't make it, they immediately call and get someone else. They're consistent with their care.

Anytime I call, they are right on the ball. I am retired and my mother got sick, so it was like I was working two jobs. I have home aides for my mother, they can watch her and help her take her pills.
