About This Community
Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

Some of the people sent in don't wish to be “housekeepers” and that's what I need them to do.
The agency has good office staff and I like the people that come in.

Right at Home allows me to leave the house and take care of groceries or other errands while the caregivers are at the home.
If there is any changes with the scheduling, the office staff are able to correct the issue on the same day.

I can't get along without help now. They have tried to match the caregiver with what I need done, which I really appreciate.
The only difficulty is being informed about changes. The caregiver that was coming had something changed and I didn't know about it at all or until the last minute. My caregivers have been great though.

Right at home and the people who work so hard to keep my mother safe, well cared for, and fill her day with cheerful company have been a priceless gift to me and my family.
The caregivers have all been very kind and I am so grateful to have found an organization who is able to not only provide the care my mom needs, but also be there to support me with anything that I need for my own personal support.

I have a family member with memory loss who has been client of Right at Home for over a year. The companionship and support of the caregivers has made a huge difference for her safety and quality of life. The caregivers are on time and very positive and capable and she likes all of them -calling them "My friend". Patty is tremendously experienced and whole-hearted in her commitment to the well being of her clients.

We have only had them for about 4 weeks and the caregivers are really good with my dad. I think if the caregivers would be able to come in and do what they needed to do instead of having to do everyday, that would be helpful.
Their hours aren't flexible. I didn't get to pick the hours I needed. They only gave me hours that they could provide.

I'm getting used to the same person and I can have someone who knows what they are doing rather than explain things all over again to someone new.
I think we are there, but not quite. I picked the day to receive services and they have had turn overs for a while and every two weeks we are getting services.

One of our caregivers was so excited about some training that she received on Saturday. The owner trains her caregivers a lot.
The agency is wonderful because the owner has the ability to choose people, and she gives her employees a lot of training.

I don't have to worry so much about things not getting done. I feel really comfortable knowing that she's going to be here when she says she'll be here. She makes me feel more secure.
