They have available talent whenever we have needed it. The prior agency had limited services in our agency.
The majority of their staff are Hispanic, and a lot of them don't even know what a dishwasher is.

When I need a caregiver they are very good about giving me someone to cover the regular caregiver that is out.
I would like it if they would hire better caregivers. They do not seemed to be trained to be working in someone home.

They are there since I am not there. She has not had any complaints. We had a few issues in the beginning, but they switched them out. Now we have two we really like. They do a good job.
They are consistent when we have problems they address them quickly.

She needed them because her health was bad after coming out of the hospital. Her health has improved over the last few months and so we haven't needed them so much.
They've been very accommodating to our ever changing schedule.

I have to take the time to train the caregiver on how to take care of my paralyzed wife but then they would change caregivers. After they took away the first caregiver I didn't know what to expect from the company.
In my case, I wanted them to give me a good caregiver, which they did, but then they took her away.

The most helpful part of the services is that the caregiver takes care of my husband so I can take care of other matters.

I don't usually write reviews, but when an individual in an organization goes way beyond what is normally expected, I felt compelled to do so. I highly recommend Always Best Care in Palm Desert for home caregivers. Especially Leslie B., their Care Coordinator. I can't say enough good things about her. She went WAY beyond the usual duties of her job to ensure my elderly Aunt with post-stroke dementia was well taken care of regardless of whether she was in the hospital, at home or in a memory care facility. She was in constant contact with family members and showed great compassion while also attending to a myriad of details, many of which were not even her job. She even visited my Aunt in the hospital and helped get her home safely. Always Best Care is indeed lucky to have Leslie and so are we.

Yanitza E. Is Always on time, Light cleaning, Shops for groceries with me teaches me how to manage my computer better. Helps with laundry , empty the dishwasher ,very good caregiver. Agency (Leslie) is most helpful with any problem or any thing I need to have done.

This is in-home care/assistance for my 91 yo mother with mild dementia and ephasia. The owner has been VERY responsive at most times/days of the week. The person they sent has been very good with my mother and reliable.
They are great to work with and try very hard to meet the client needs. Definitely recommended.

It helped me a great deal. I did not have to worry about him.
He had dementia and was on the last stages, so just having someone sit there with him is what he needed. I had no complaints at all.

I talk to my dad about the person they send out, and he always has a positive response. I know that they change caregivers quite often, but he likes the people they send out.
They are there on time, and we are happy with the folks they send out there.

I had a caregiver for a week that was great, but she no longer works for the agency. The current caregiver is not as good. I think that when someone makes a bed, there should be some parameters to making the bed. Just making it isn't adequate.
I'd like the agency to send me someone that is actually trained. I'd like the caregiver to be helpful to those in the home and be interested in talking to and interacting with my loved one. If there's something I should know, I'd like the caregiver to tell me about it.

It allows me to have a job. It allows me to leave the house, so I don't have to care for my mother 24/7.
They have hired a very excellent lady that takes care of my mom. The care is only as good as the caregiver.

My mother-in-law was unsafe in her home, and they found multiple places to place her. That relieved a lot of stress off of our family.

They've done everything. They help her stand up, sit down, serve and eat meals, in the shower, and with activities of daily living. They offer companionship, too.
The caregivers are incredible.

I'm not emotionally or physically capable of doing what the caregivers do. Thank God for people like this agency.
If I have any problems, I can call the owners, and they get back to me immediately. They're very involved and responsive. My mother has been with the agency for nine years, and has had full-time caregivers that entire time. The agency worked with us to match the caregivers, and they've been fantastic. My mother wouldn't have been able to survive without them.

I wasn't really able to care for myself, so it was great.
I would recommend them highly. What I liked about my caretaker is that she was friendly, very attentive, and she did everything. She did more than I could have expected.

It's only moderate because of the dementia. If we decided to keep the caregiver every day, I think that would be a good thing. Our caregiver has a very positive personality, which is what we wanted.
The initial follow-up could be improved. I took it for granted that it was something they would have done. I want to be able to follow what's going on.

They are always saying that they are committed to us. If I ever call same day, they are happy to get help for me that night if I need it. They are just so wonderful.

The caregivers from Always Best Care of Desert Cities come every day to make sure my relative has lunch and dinner. They help her get in the shower. She has memory issues so they remind her to take a shower and to take her pill, and they're there for company. On Monday through Friday we have the same person, and then on Saturday and Sunday it's another person. We've been working with this agency for a couple of months now, for about 40 to 50 hours a week. Our normal hours with them are 11:00 to 3:00, unless we have company at that time. I think the scheduling and value for the money is excellent, and the pricing is comparable to what we're paying in Chicago. The caregivers are wonderful; Maria is great and so is Sonia.

They would send me the same person a couple times, which was helpful, rather than trying to retrain new caregivers all the time. I had one that was excellent, and the others weren't bad, but I had to teach them where stuff was.
The services were good, but I think they did not fulfill my request to review certain information before they made it final.

I live in Boston and my parents live in Palm desert. I was making expensive trips. When the second parent was diagnosed with dementia I knew my trips would not be enough.
The initial consultation was handled very sensitively. I got a lot of information, and once we decided to business together, my concerns and questions were responded to very quickly and professionally.
