Hired Hands Homecare is a Family Owned & Operated homecare agency; providing the finest caregiving services for over 22 years. We enhance the well-being of seniors by providing trustworthy and compassionate homecare services.
Our exceptional Caregivers are our employees, and are thoroughly screened and background checked and are insured and bonded. We handle all employer responsibilities – including taxes, workers’ comp and insurance. Our caregivers have extensive experience working with the elderly. We practice ongoing staff education, management, appreciation and recognition, to ensure the consistent high quality level of our Caregivers.
We are committed to fulfilling your exact needs from the start. Our dedicated management team has over 100 years of experience in managing homecare, and we know exactly what it takes to assure customer satisfaction. An important tool is our complimentary Initial Assessment and Home Safety Evaluation. Our Director will sit down to discuss your individual needs and preferences. We then develop a Careplan and schedule the ideal Caregiver to serve you, matching skills and personality. Assistance is available on a flexible basis: 24 / 7 on an hourly, overnight or 24-hour live in basis. While some companies may charge for ongoing care management, it is included with our service.

We just increased to 2 days a week, and it makes all the difference to me. It's so nice to have an extra day to have someone here to help.
They are really receptive. When we have someone here who isn't doing a good job, I don't feel like a complainer when I call the office with my concerns about caregivers.

I have somebody come in 6 days a week to take care of my 96-year-old mom, and they allow me to be able to get out and go to the grocery store.
I like everything about the agency. The people who come to the house are very nice, and everybody is really efficient.

I am not there a lot of times but they seem to be doing a good job. They help with things like making her food. They help put on compression stalking's. They try to get them to move around.

He is wheelchair bound. They help with meals and make sure he takes his medications.

I am slow because of lower back problems, so I tell my caregivers if I need help. They help me up the stairs and to the mailbox.
They are gentle with me because they know I go slow. Going shopping is so much faster with them.

There is a lot of relive knowing that someone is there and helping her. It feels like things are a bit busier though because I have to juggle schedules, but it is worth it.
We just started working with them. They are really great with communication and they get in touch with any little thing that come ups. They explain the system really well and the team is great, and very through. They are very committed.

I think their biggest issue is the office staff lacks communication. Their skills are horrific. I could do a better job.

Most of the time, it's fine, but sometimes, there is a glitch when a caregiver can't come or is running late. It is hard to find replacements.
We have had good caregivers. I like them because it is a professional agency.

The services probably help the family more than my mom because she doesn't feel like she needs assistance yet. The family is just trying to broaden my mom's resources. I don't think the agency could improve any more, but my mom could appreciate the services more.
I'd like them to have better communication with me as a customer on the behalf of my loved one. It's a matter of me being more informed because I do all the scheduling.

I think we are coming to a time where we need more hours.
For a while, I was trying to get somebody to come on Saturday, but it was somebody new every time. There is no benefit when it's somebody new every time. You have to show them around every time if they are new.

We started about four years ago using them whenever we've had a need for them. It's worked out pretty good. We've had a good person here. Years ago, we had a bad experience. Some items in our cabinet went missing.

I like that they are easy to work with and are very responsive. My mother has a particular person she likes to have care for her, and so if I call far enough in advance, they set it up for her.

They may come a half hour later than they say they will. I can't always count on their timing. I like their personal interests and I feel like they see me as a person instead of a case number. I'm confined to a wheelchair, but they have me getting up and doing things, which is good for me. They give me tips on what I can do when I'm standing up or things that will help me. They're very helpful.

I like the people that they send. Whenever I spoke to someone from the company, they were really nice too. They seem like they have good policies. We use them when my husband goes out of town so that we have someone to stay with me. It's good to have someone with me while he's travelling. They give me my medications right on time and prepare meals for me and help me out with anything I need.
