the past two weekends I needed care nobody showed up. I find alta to be unreliable and undependable. their communication skills are almost non-existent. I hope I have better results with another provider. the person sent to evaluate me gave a totally different impression of what's offered and apparently didn't communicate my needs well.

My husband might be a little difficult to work with because he felt uncomfortable having people do things for him. I don't think he's comfortable with someone else giving him a shower. All I needed was someone to give him lunch, make sure that his urinal was kept empty, make sure the bed gets made, and just watch, make sure he doesn't fall. I wanted him to meet who was going to take care of him so I could make sure they were a good match. We had interviewed one caregiver but then Alta Home care sent in another caregiver. I didn't get what I asked for.
