Caring Companions At Home is an independently owned and operated in-home care agency. We have provided quality senior caregiver services to the Southern California and East Texas communities since 1999 and are a trusted resource for seniors and their families.
Caring Companions At Home is committed to providing seniors with quality in-home care. Our personalized and affordable non-medical caregiving services give our clients the companionship that they need to maintain their independence while remaining in the comfort of their home.
All Caring Companions At Home caregivers/home care aides are highly trained and experienced in providing the care and services that are needed for you or your loved one. All caregivers/home care aides are employees, registered with the State of California, and listed on the Department of Social Services website. They are thoroughly screened and background checked through LiveScan with FBI, DOJ Clearance, and E-Verified with the Department of Homeland Security. All caregivers/home care aides are bonded, fully insured and TB tested. Many of our caregivers have worked for Caring Companions At Home for several years.
Caring Companions At Home has qualified Case Managers on staff who visit with clients and family members in their homes to evaluate and assess their individual needs to ensure a perfect placement. We recognize the importance of compatibility between the personalities of both client and caregiver; therefore our caregivers are carefully matched with each client. It is our goal to keep the same caregiver with a client so that they become like a family member. After a caregiver is placed we keep in touch on a regular basis with both client and caregiver to make sure the client is receiving the best possible care.

Amber has been extremely helpful in steering our family in the right direction for care; as well as listening to needs and making adjustments as needed. Our caretaker Ruth goes above and beyond to make sure our parents' needs are met. We are grateful for their professionalism and truly caring approach towards our elderly parents and our family!

Excellent caregivers and staff! My mother's caregivers have become part of the family, and love my mother's dearly! I have recommended this agency to friends and family. Caring Companions At Home has cared for my 75-year-old Mother since 2015. My Mother started with just a few hours a week, driving to her appointments. Mom had a stroke in 2018. Caring Companions At Home responded immediately and were able to transition into full-time 24hr care.

Excellent caregivers and staff! Caring Companions At Home has provided care to my 84-year-old father since 2010. My father started with just a few hours a week, just someone to help with meal preparation and driving to his appointments. In 2013, my father fell and broke his hip. Caring Companions At Home responded immediately and were able to transition into full-time 24hr care. My father's caregivers have become part of the family, and love my father dearly! I have recommended this agency to friends and family.

The person that was sent to me was not very compatible with me. She was a little young for me. I was not overly pleased, but I was not displeased. I just think they could have made a better choice for my caregiver.

The people are very prompt and through. We like the people that they send and they do their job. They're nice to her, they're a companion to her, and they make it easier for me while I'm gone.

I appreciate the care we've received, and the caregiver has been absolutely wonderful with my sister. Just having someone here for us, someone that we can count on, who will talk to my sister and take care of my sister, has eased burdens from me. Plus, our caregiver is nice to have around.

Lately, I have not having much luck with Caring Companions at Home. I need a caregiver who can care for my loved one, and they are not sending me anyone consistent. I am considering changing companies. The services have been frustrating. Things are jumbled and confusing and my wife is not receive the care she needs.

I've had no problems with them. I only use them once a week. I ran into a problem with people being sick. Things have straightened out now. When I'm down to the last pill of my medication, they take me to get more.

They're local and available. They seem very connected and understanding. It's been a lifesaver! It gives me freedom to go take care of my son because someone is here taking care of my husband.
Mother's Care
Caring Companions has been a godsend for our mom.
We needed help with bathing our mom and assistance in the restroom while our dad is at work. The staff found us a wonderful care giver who worked with her for 6 months. When the care giver was no longer able to care for her, the staff worked diligently to find a positive, qualified new care giver for our mom and had a kind substitute there for her weekly until one was found. You won't find kinder staff to work with you and your family member who needs care!

When my mom was in hospice, two ladies from Caring Companions took turns staying with her in her home 24/7 until she passed away. They were attentive, kind, and kept the kitchen clean and house tidy. My mom felt well-cared for, and my siblings and I were able to spend time with her while the ladies took care of her medicines and physical needs. They were very understanding of our grief. We felt that they truly cared about us and what we were all going through.
