We are current clients of Kindred for almost 2 yrs for my Mom & they have been beyond fantastic! She has 2 caregivers 7days/week as well as PT, OT & RN services. The team is absolutely incredible & the caregivers are like part of our family now. It took a bit of time to find these stable, wonderful caregivers because my Mom can be a challenge but the hardworking staff (Wendy, Shayna & Joseph) never gave up. It’s been very helpful to have all care under one roof & has been very helpful for my Mom. The caregivers have been nothing less than outstanding, caring, offer excellent communication & they are my lifeline to my Mom as I live out of state. Thank you Kindred for caring & we are so grateful for you all!

We have been working with Kindred at Home for four years now. They're very accommodating. The caregiver that we've had for the past two-and-a-half years, Carolina, is priceless. She has been more helpful than we could ever ask for, and my mom just absolutely adores her. She's like another daughter to her. We have one caregiver now. There are other caregivers available to us if Carolina can't make it and we needed someone else. We have just been with Carolina for the last two-and-a-half years. It's more comfortable for my mom to just have Carolina. She helps with everything, cleaning, cooking, and laundry. My mom is a fall risk. She is impaired, a little weak and becomes dizzy sometimes, and is arthritic and so forth. She is using a walker, so Carolina is here just to make sure that she doesn't fall. She helps her with physical therapy, she takes her outside for walks, and she helps her bathe, basically just everything that we need. For the entire four years that we've been using Kindred, if all of our caregivers were Carolina, they would get a six out of five. We had a few issues in the very beginning with caregivers that were late or wouldn't show up. Carolina, however, has really set the bar. She's really amazing and we're super lucky to have her and very grateful to Kindred for introducing us to her.

We're working with Kindred at Home for maybe two years now. They're for myself and for my husband. I really like them. They're really nice. The head of the place over there at the office, Theresa, is very nice, too. I really have no complaints with that company. They're very good. The communication is really good, and the service is very good, too. They're agreeable. They're just nice. Their personalities are nice, they're easy to talk to, and the service is fine. I have no problem at all with them. They are very agreeable with what has to be done. No ifs, ands or buts. They're just good. It's a really comfortable feeling to have somebody come in and you enjoy them. We get along really well. It seems to work on both sides, with them and us. We're not very hard people to get along with, and it seems like they aren't either. I think there were only two times someone didn't show up, and I think there was a little mix-up on the end of that. So out of all of that time, that's pretty good. I would say to others that, if they use Kindred, I think they would be as pleased as we are with them.

I'm with Kindred at Home. I was just looking at a calendar yesterday and I realized that I have been with them for three years now. Compared to a couple other agencies that I used, on a scale of 1 to 10, they're a 10, and the other ones did not supply people that were qualified. Kindred does a better job of screening their applicants, and that's important. They do general light housekeeping. The girl that I have comes and she sweeps my entire downstairs and then she mops my entire downstairs. She goes to pick up my mail by the front gate because I live in a gated community. I have a bedroom upstairs, so she makes my bed and changes the linen when I need it changed and cleans the bathrooms. For me, I just need her once a week. She does grocery shopping as well. I have a spine injury, so she takes me to the doctor's appointments. My caregiver is very pleasant, very educated, very knowledgeable, and very easy to get along with. Right now, I'm extremely happy with them. My care is paid for by my long-term insurance company. I pay upfront, and then the insurance company reimburses me, so they process that very quickly. It's a two-step process, you don't have just the caregiver come, but you work with the office, so the management is very quick to respond as well. They're a little bit more expensive, but the quality of care is superior compared to the other ones that I've used.

I only used Kindred at Home for one day. They were helping me around the house. The caregiver was exceptionally warm, kind, and very attentive. She took a lot of initiative to think about what might be helpful or useful for me around the house. I had just had surgery a few days prior and was on crutches and unable to weight bear, and so she helped supervise me using my crutches around the house to get where I needed to go, and that helped me feel more safe. She cooked for myself and my daughter dinner, which was amazing. She did a lot of laundry and folded it. She communicated with me all the time about how I wanted things done and where things needed to go. She swept up, and the thing that I really appreciated is that she was an excellent communicator. She regularly checked in with me about what I wanted or needed or what would be helpful. I arranged for her to come to be with me because my spouse couldn't be at the house at that time. Soon after my surgery, I didn't feel safe being alone, and so she provided a lot of safety and comfort and then a lot of practical things around my house that just eased the caregiving responsibilities for my spouse.

We started using Kindred at Home in July, but we had actually used them several years ago at a point when my mom needed some care and my father was still with us and in the hospital. We like them enough from a couple of years ago, that when I needed to get help for Mom unexpectedly and virtually immediately, that's who I called since we already had a relationship with them. It's been about six weeks now that we've been back with them full time. My experience with them is 99.9 out of 100. The only thing was that there was one scheduling mishap and the caregiver wasn't supposed to leave until the replacement got there, but he had left early. Luckily, my mom was still awake and she called and said, 'There's nobody here,' and so we called Kindred and they right away got somebody down there. When there has been even any kind of issue or super minor to anything, they have been extremely flexible and extremely responsive. That's why even though that was kind of a major faux pas, I still give them 99.9 out of 100. If it wasn't for that one issue, it would be 100 out of 100, but nothing like that even come close to happening again. In fact, every month when the schedule is sent, they send it to me, so I know who's on duty 24 hours a day. They even kind of went above and beyond what they needed to do to assure me that it won't happen again. My mom has dementia, so she's not really able to take care of herself. She can get around with her walker, so they help her, they do a nice job of balancing the letting her get up and do things on her own because she needs the exercise with keeping an eye on her and staying close in case she does have an issue, so they're really good at that. Then there she gets Meals on Wheels, so they reheat the Meals on Wheels for her. Until the Meals on Wheels started, they were doing sandwiches and toasts and stuff like that. My mom has never been a big eater, so that part was really easy. They do the laundry, they do the vacuuming and light housekeeping. The people are really good companions for my mom, too. They chat with her during the day and keeping her mind occupied. I would say it's general babysitting for lack of a better term and just making sure she's safe. They were great years ago and they're still great. I don't even know how they managed to do it because my mom is so fussy, but they have put together a team right out of the gate. They all work together well, and somehow my mom even likes them all.

We mostly have good experiences with Kindred at Home. I've been working with them since the beginning of August. They provided round-the-clock care when I was first sent home. Now, I got down to one shift with somebody that does mostly everything I need now. It's mostly satisfactory with the caregivers. There were some of course better than others, which we expected. One of my sons is doing the bills for me.

We have been using Kindred at Home for three months now. They are here 3 times a week for 3 hours a day. I'm using a rollator and a power chair, and I've got myositis (IBM). It is a debilitating disease. It kills your muscles, your nerves and your whole body. It is ongoing. I'm getting to the point, slowly but surely, where I'm having a hard time doing a lot of different things. I get concerned where I get to take a shower, especially when there's no one home. So Kindred at Home works out. I have someone now who can be in the next room and with the door partially open, I can take my shower. They will do everything that they could possibly do for you. I have difficulty with balance. If I have to put a pair of socks on I can't do that, so they do that for me. While I'm taking a shower, they're sweeping the floor in the bedroom, they are making my bed or maybe change my linens. They stay busy and they're always there trying to anticipate what you need, just being right there for you. They're like angels; their hearts are huge. They're really very caring people. You can tell that it is not a job that they're doing just because they're making money. They're doing it because they enjoy helping people. On top of that, Ann and Megan, their managers, can't seem to do enough for you either. Ann even shows up at the house occasionally just to check and see how things are going or if you're getting what you need. They're always reaching out to you. I have yet to find anything that they aren't doing their best.

We hired Kindred at Home for my mother. We use them mostly for companionship. So far, it's going pretty well. It seems like it's a pretty good fit. It's just a little awkward on the administration in the beginning, but we've been working through it. We chose them because I liked the questions that the woman asked when she came out. Her questions were more in-depth.

My caregiver is very attentive to all my needs. She helps me with personal care, like showering, hair care, dressing, toileting, and walking with me. She also does my laundry, light house work, and meal preparation. She has a positive attitude, takes pride in her work, and shows confidence.

Tesa, the caregiver is excellent. Since she has been with my husband, his movement has improved says his doctor since January. Tesa is very resourceful. She has found new exercise for Richard; facial, speech. And Richard is now standing longer because of her. She also moves with him when she does the exercises. That is very important.
