About This Community
We can help those in need not only by providing quality care at great value, but also by answering questions, offering advice, suggesting resources, or simply by listening. We genuinely believe the more people and families we can help, the more successful HomeCare Professionals will be as a company and as an integral part of the Bay Area care community.
HomeCare Professionals services are designed around the needs of each individual client. We recognize that no two clients are the same and we welcome the challenge of meeting the personal needs of each client. Care schedules ranging anywhere from a few hours a day, a few days a week to 24 hours a day / 7 days a week are possible. We are highly flexible and we work to establish a schedule that is optimal for our clients and their families. Our caregivers are able to provide a broad range of services.

We have been using their home care services for over 2 years in the care of my wife. Two shifts of 3 hours in the morning to get her cleaned up, dressed , and fed along with some exercises . Then the reverse of 3 hours in the evening to get her ready for bed. My wife is wheel chair bound so she needs attention by our home care takers during these hours to prevent muscle atrophy. They are very caring people. During the course of the seven days we have several different caretakers and we find them all to be competent and caring. I highly recommend them for any one in need.

I got Homecare Professionals to help me because I'm legally blind. She makes sure I have my medications, that I take my medications, she helps me shower every other day, and she tends to whatever I need. She does everything a proper home care provider should do for a person that is visually handicapped. My caregiver is not only my caregiver, she's my friend, and everybody they've sent me has been very good.

My father recently suffered a stroke. Although he was initially very resistant to the idea, the skilled nursing facility persuaded him to meet with a few in-home care providers several days prior to his discharge "just in case" he needed them.
Homecare Professionals was one of the three companies the facility recommended. Dad and I took an immediate liking to them right from the start. The Owner of company and one of their directors came to see us- not a sales person. During the interview the owner answered almost every question I had written down ahead of time before I even had a chance to ask them. He also brought up several issues that Dad and I had not considered. He was so much more informative than the other companies we meet with, and there was no pressure for us to make a decision. They also had the best rates.
We then interviewed a few of their caregivers. There was no cost for the interviews and we were definitely impressed with both of the people they sent. In fact we hired them both!
Thankfully dad really recovered quickly once he finally got home, so we only wound up using Homecare Professionals for about a month. The service was great- just what we expected. Always the same caregivers and they were very good with dad. I teased them that they were too good and worked themselves out of a job.
