About This Community
Care Indeed is a leading provider of non-medical home care services in the Bay Area. We are owned and managed by nurses who are experts in senior care; they worked as caregivers for many years before they started Care Indeed.
Care Indeed offers hourly and live-in care. Our services fall into these categories: personal care and hygiene, support with mobility, help with household chores, companionship, and assistance with transportation. We offer free in-home assessment and 24/7 phone support. Four hours at least twice a week is the minimum. No deposit or long-term contract is required. We send out Invoices on a weekly basis, and we bill major long-term care insurance companies.
Our caregivers receive training that exceeds the minimum required by law, and beyond what our competitors offer. All our caregivers are bonded and insured, and covered by workers' compensation. They receive competitive pay, health benefits, paid sick leave, and due recognition.

Care Indeed was wonderful. They were quick, we got sent the right people, and it was a great experience. We used them for 2 weeks. They helped my friend in bathing, they came every day, and everything was perfect. I would recommend them.

When we first met Care Indeed we really thought they were very impressive. They do background checks, they told us they could do the stuff we need, but I can't get hold of people, I can't schedule them, and they don't call back. I told them they need to be able to lift her, and none of them could.

My 93-year-old father needs standby assistance and suffers from occasional incontinence. My mom is 85 and needed help with looking out for my dad's well-being when my older sister had to go on vacation last month.
A friend suggested to me that I contact Care Indeed. After my first meeting with one of their Care Managers, I knew right away that this company employs people who have a soft spot for people with special needs. I later found out that the owners are nurses with extensive experience in caregiving.
The caregiver who came to our house for 2 weeks was very hardworking and helpful. Our family could not have asked for a more caring, intuitive and skilled caregiver. She gently spoke with my parents regularly without overwhelming them with conversation. The caregiver was patient and respectful. Not only was she highly trained with day-to-day tasks of an elderly person, she was also emotionally smart.
Our family's experience with Care Indeed was positive. Someone was always available to talk to us. They made sure that my parents were okay every step of the way. We are very grateful!

My mother is 88 and suffers from severe dementia. After three frustrating years working with agencies poorly-equipped to deal with the unique challenges presented by my mother's illness, I was referred to Care Indeed. From that point forward and for a full year thereafter Care Indeed and its head of patient care, Vanessa, provided my mother with continuous, 24-hour care until our family's decision to relocate her to a memory care/assisted-living community in March, 2012. Care Indeed's caregivers were consistently warm, dedicated and professional. I am especially grateful for Vanessa's initiative and vigilance in the wake of medical complications and emergencies. She ensured that my mother saw the right physicians and took her medications as prescribed. I too benefitted from the peace-of-mind of knowing that my mother was well cared for. I have already referred a close family friend in our neighborhood to Care Indeed, and strongly recommend the service to anyone seeking exceptional care for an elderly loved one.

We have been working with Care Indeed for two months and I am impress in how quickly they provide the help we need in times of emergency care. This agency lives up to their name.

CareIndeed is the best service of its kind in the mid-Penisula area. When my family needed 24/7 care injust a few hours to spring a relative out of the hospital, Care Indeed was there in less than 4 hours with fully qualified caregivers and a back office support system complete with an RN and caseworker. They truly care about those they provide care for including all the famiy members, even pets!

Care Indeed is the best Caregiver Agency I have ever hired. When I needed an Agency fast, they were there in hours. Vanessa sorted out my mom's medications right away, and thier Caregivers were outstanding. I would recommend this Agency to anyone. They really care about family's, and you can call them anytime if you need to, even at 2 in the morning, and someone will be there to answer any question you have.

Care Inddeed provided us with a driver for a long (9 hour) trip to Northern California. Claudia arrived early, checked our car and the route carfully. She is an excellent driver in heavy freeway traffic. She dressed well, was a good copanion and took care of us with exceptional professionalism.

The incredible team at Care Indeed has been taking care of my (almost) 90 year old mother for a year now. They are thoroughly professional and reliable, very responsive to her needs, sensitive, knowledgeable, flexible, patient and kind. I can't recommend them highly enough. My siblings and I live many thousands of miles away, and Care Indeed provides us with complete peace of mind. Thank you, Care Indeed!

Everything went wonderfully! I can thank you enough for the exceptional work that our caregiver has done. She's making a real difference in the quality of my mother's life, and that is immensely invaluable to us.
My mother saved the meticulously prepared dinner, complete with salmon, carrots, and asparagus until I get home in order to show me what a wonderful job our caregiver did. The taste is exactly to my mother's liking as well. Her attention to detail really comes through as the utmost quality in home care. Needless to say I'm very touched and very impressed.

I wish to say a big thank you for all the help given to me to enable my dear husband to be nursed at home. Your morning, lunchtime and evening visits were a great morale booster and your presence made a hard day seem not so bad.
