Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

They make our lives easier by doing whatever she is asked to do and beyond. We have a wonderful caregiver. She is a nice person and easy to get along with. She'll fix lunch.
Every time that I've called them, they have an answer for me. I'm very pleased with getting the answer right away.

I wouldn't be able to go to work without them.
I have the CEO's phone number, and I called her while she was on vacation in Hawaii. She came to our house, too. She has been very accommodating. She helps us a lot.

My mom has built a friendship with her. She keeps her company and that's been the biggest help mom not being lonely.
I like that they communicate very well. I'm the daughter and live in NY and they still make me feel in the loop about my mom's care. I feel safe and trust the caregiver with my mom.

They are necessary my sister needs care, she would not be able to do a lot of things without them, they are essential. Have helped her go to doctor appointments, food, medicine, clean the house, gone to buy groceries, helping with phones and computers, and even walk her dogs, picking up her mail.
I like that they are flexible like they arrived right away my sister likes the people they hire, the problem is they lost a couple of personnel, recently have been unreliable, gonna give them the benefit of the doubt.

It has been very helpful knowing there is somebody here with my mom.
I always am able to get through to somebody. They are trying to meet the needs of my mom. The only downside is that there aren’t as many caregivers as there were before the pandemic.

They were helping with my house every Monday, because I'm terminally ill. I'm stuck in my house. I would have thought that the caregivers would have said, "she's a nice lady."
I have to pay out of pocket, and the lady had no excuse for how I was being charged. She couldn't explain to me. They don't keep their word.

It would be better if they had more caregivers.
I used to like them because the guy was really good but he left. I have called a couple of times and they did not have any people. They had a shortage of people and couldn't get anybody and I have stopped calling them for a couple of months.

The people they have are very good, but, partly due to COVID-19, they haven't always been able to provide extra help when I've needed it. They've had to scramble to get another caregiver to fill in because they didn't have available staff.
I like the quality of the people they provide.

My mother wants to stay home and we have some round-the-clock care going on right now through Right at Home. They are not nurses, but some might have some LVN experience. They do light housework and light cleaning. There hasn't been a 100% staffing, it's why they're not 5. They've had a couple of small issues with staffing, but they've done a pretty good job other than that.

Gene is cautious of the caregivers since they are strangers in his home, and he has Alzheimer's. But one of the caregivers has come more than the other two and he has started to become familiar with her.
The three caregivers I have had since we started at with them are all very confident and easy to work with.

It is really great because Jessica, the caregiver she has, deserves a ten start rating. My grandmother looks forward to seeing her and spending time with her. They have a really good relationship.

It was great when they were there, it was just a few hours. She was taken care of and I knew the caregivers were there so I didn't have to worry.
They were always pretty quick. My mom was very difficult, always changing her schedule around. Right at Home was very efficient at finding a caregiver right away to fit her needs.

It was changing my life. I was there with my dad. I didn't live that far away from him. I could be over there two or three times a day, and I was. Evenings weren't good. He didn't want to be alone at night. It was in constant stress and worry. When they started, it was an instant relief.
They did an excellent job at selecting the caregivers that they sent for my dad. They are on 12-hour shifts. They are taking care of him in a small apartment for 12 hours. They need to be more than a babysitter. They needed to be a friend. They were his assistance. One caregiver in particular was a friend. He trusted her. She was so good to him. Their hiring process is really working for them.

My caregiver only comes once a week for four hours, but I have things that I need help with and certain things that I can't lift or bend with. She drives me to doctors' appointments and will help me with my grocery shopping.
They are a good agency. I used to be a nurse and I like the way they run things. The financial part is done nicely, and I like the person that does that. I like everyone that I have ever talked to there. My helper, who I have had for over a year, is excellent. We get along very well, and her work is excellent.

Since we have increased the number of times they come in a week, it has really relieved my mother of the stress of dealing with my father for 24-hours a day. I think it is also good for him because it is just him and my mother in the house all day long.
They are super flexible. They have tried to go out of their way to accommodate our schedule. They have been really fast in coming up with new options when our schedule changes. They are willing to try new caregivers whenever we have asked for change.
