Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

The caregivers help me with my meals, taking me shopping, rearranging furniture, and since I have a movement disorder helping me in and out of the car alongside plenty of other things that I need done in my life due to my age.
I like the compassion that the caregivers exhibit despite the tough situations they sometimes deal with, so I'd certainly recommend them.

I don't live locally. My brother didn't have to take my mother to appointments and stuff like that.
I found them to be pretty easy to work with and pretty responsive. Unfortunately it just wasn't a match to find consistent caregivers whose personality matched with my mother's.

Without them I would have to do it so the impact is very dramatic. Only in one instance have they been unable to find someone on short notice to fulfill a shift.
The people who are working with me now I have had for 5-6 years. They have given excellent care for my mother. The quality of care throughout has been excellent at all levels.

If the person who was provided to us was more able to receive directions and be a little bit quicker, that would be good.

I'm not sure since she had different people helping her. From a different company, a caregiver was younger and dealt my sister very well. She's funny and smart and takes care of things.
If there was a change, they would be considerate.

It was great because I didn't have anyone to drive. I was really grateful to have someone to pick me up and get me some food.
I'm not sure if I paid for the full four hours, and she didn't stay the full four hours. I told her it was okay, but I don't know if she had to stay the four hours.

Now I am a little more straightened out. I've been with with them two and half years. I have to walk them through everything. Now that the girls have things figured out, they are much more mature.
I don't think they have enough qualified people.

If I needed them long term, I would prefer the same people to come in each time. The constant rotation is hit or miss. Sometimes, I get someone who is pretty good, and sometimes, they are not so good.
I would like to see the people come in have a little better nursing knowledge. One of the people that came in had difficulty taking my blood pressure.

My caregiver has the ability to cook meals, which is good.
They have an obligation to make sure that the caregivers from other countries have the same hygiene habits that we do. I have a caregiver who doesn't smell good.

With other caregivers that we've had, I could see her a little bit more active and engaged, but the one now is frustrating her. She has to tell them to clean the lint out of the dryer. I don't get that they don't get it. There's been two of them that I had to have write a list of their responsibilities that they're supposed to do from their company. There seems to be some lack of understanding in doing some tasks. I tell them to keep the bathrooms clean, and that has to be constantly reminded which is annoying.
I haven't been with them for that long. We went on vacation and then came back and the caregiver assigned to her was going on vacation, so we went with somebody we had known for a while, but then the lady came back.The lady who comes out and talks is nice, but the universal problem with the company is that the people who are hired are not on the higher education level, and some common sense things you can't teach. It makes it very difficult sometimes, and she has fallen once so when we're gone, we want somebody to watch her just in case. But I've noticed that she is more anxious to do something than they are, so for somebody more active with more intellect, we shouldn't have to put in a dime in somebody to say clean the lint drawer out in the dryer, and when spices run out put it on the list, and things like that. She lives with me and my husband and we have work and other things and we need the assistance, but I feel like I'm constantly making lists for what they're supposed to do with her and her room. If there's a glass that's been there two days, it needs to be washed out.

I am much better so that's good, but the caregivers could not deal with things I needed, like the toilet and shaving.
I had 3 or 4 caregivers, and only one of them could cope with my toilet and shaving. The others did not do things properly.

It allowed me to get out for a day and do some things that I was unable to do. My loved one felt very comfortable with the caregiver who was sent.

When I called them, I was still in the hospital. The owner of the company came over to the hospital within the hour to interview me. I mean, talk about customer service. I would highly recommend this company. They help with daily chores, like showering, light housekeeping, and helping me cook.

Both of the caregivers have been very helpful and pleasant because they make my meals, take care of me, and have been sweet and nice and wonderful. I have a broken arm and they do everything for me.
