The woman who comes to my parents' house is very personable. My dad has dementia, and he had been very distant at first but now has really bonded with her. They had agreed that she would come one day a week for three hours a day. Both of my parents like her very much. My dad is very particular about things and is very suspicious of new people that come to the house, but now he adores her and gives her all kinds of things to do.
Interim Health Care of La Verne has been really helpful. The management is good. I have a very good rapport with them, but sometimes I get a little frustrated about how quickly they follow through on things that I ask for. As far as the billing, I've had to come and ask them several times to send me an invoice. I expect things to be more professional. It seems like they're very easy to work with, but from an administration standpoint, I'm a little concerned.

I have been a client of Interim Healthcare in Northern California for several years, but needed temporary services in Southern California when my husband and I traveled for a week. Interim Healthcare of San Gabriel Valley came through with perfect service on very short notice. The consultants and caregiver came to the house for free to meet my husband and set up what was needed and how things would work. They wanted to make sure my husband and the caregiver got along, which they did. Our caregiver arrived every day on time. She was wonderful getting my husband up, bathed and dressed. We were in a strange house and had to try things one way, then go another sometimes and she just took it in stride. Very efficient - laundry, making up beds, meal prep, washing dishes - all done in minutes before I could look away and look back! Very professional and very patient. I can speak for certain that these are good, honest, appropriate people and I will use their services every time I come back to the area.
