Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

My aunt is using Right at Home, Burbank California right now. I'm very happy with it. We called them, told them how many hours a day and when, and they sent somebody else that could fit in that circumstance. So I think it's been great. Then you can either pay the agency directly or if you have insurance, they can bill the insurance. So the families can choose what to do with that. I'm very happy with it all the way around, and now we have two nice ladies. They help her with personal services, like getting her ready, taking a shower, taking her for a walk, and light housekeeping. They'll do whatever we ask them to, just light stuff, and not anything heavy. I think they do a really good job and I would use them again.

Carmen takes care of my mother. She anticipates when tasks need to be done. Her outlook on life is positive and that spreads to everyone. She has also been flexible with her time and my moms needs. She really cares about my mom. All my moms care givers have been on time and the agency has been responsive to our requests. During the pandemic staff followed protocol and kept my mom safe.

We liked them. Of all the people we've had over the several years, most all of them have been very good. There's been one or two that had to be replaced.

They are helpful. The client only really trusts me so he calls my name every few seconds so their services have made it where I have a little more breathing room. The client needs a lot more care then we are able to provide so they are very helpful.
They communicate very well with us if there is anything going on and they continue to provide care despite Covid. They made sure that we knew step by step what was going on. They run things very well so my issue isn't really with them it's with the VA.

I feel fortunate for having my husband's caregivers from Right at Home. Initially, last Spring, I had a night caregiver too but as adjustments were made by the doctor I now have just daytime caregivers a several days a week. I can relax and tend to tasks knowing that even with his complex condition and multiple issues, they are reliable, careful about his safety, engage him in activities, and care about him. They not only assist him with getting up, dressing and meals, they assist him with his exercises, monitor his hydration, remind him of his pills, and help with showering. They make comfort adjustments needed with ice and hot packs, pillows, and positioning, and walking assistance. On occasion they have helped with taking him to the doctors and out to celebrate an occasion. In the few times when illness meant a substitute needed to be made, the agency found a well trained person who was a good fit for my husband. He is very sensitive to personality and strength, I am impressed with how Right at Home handled the virus situation with additional precautions and training reminders and materials. I feel confident that our caregivers are especially careful. They work very well with me in observing changes and making adjustments regularly. I appreciate the consistency of having the same good caregivers. It adds to his wellbeing,

My mother is very difficult and she expects them to do a lot of stuff that isn't part of their duties. I understand, but my mother is 96 and she doesn't understand, but she is glad she has company there. She would like them to ask her more questions and talk to her more. Most of them don't do that.

It was an enormous help. My grandma has dementia, and she has been a little bit mean and nasty towards me. Having an extra person to give her company and take some of that off of me was a real stress reliever.
The caregiver was on time, pleasant, and friendly. She was good about helping my grandmother get into the car. She stayed with her at the doctor. It went really well.

It is something for him to look forward to. Someone can come in and help with his mobility. She does stretches with him. It is a relief. I can go out. My mom can get some rest.
So far, the person we have that is taking care of my dad is doing a pretty good job. She helps him exercise. If you give her instructions, she does it.
