I get lunch every now and then, and she is pretty efficient about getting things done around the house.
She drives some of our cars because I can't drive. However Carlene does have a lead foot.

At one point it was a lifesaver. His situation has changed and it is now extremely helpful. Originally, the caregiver could provide transportation and took him to the gym so he could exercise and for walks. The caregiver still takes him out for walks, but only a couple of times a week. His Alzheimer's has progressed. Because the caregiver was so warm and caring, it was a great support.
We have had extraordinary service from the caregiver that has worked with my husband for five years. I've been very pleased. I feel that the caregivers are supported well by the organization and the organization itself is easy to work with.

If they had more people that would be good, I liked the services.

When I take care of him, it's not as good as the caregiver's care. He always puts him in a good mood. He spends time with him. We go on picnics with him.

My caregiver is really sweet. We laugh together and giggle together. The services have impacted my life quite a bit. I don't need a lot of help right now.

Having someone here, a companion, who can help with his direct needs is helpful. Especially during the pandemic it has been nice to not have to have a different people all the time.
They do a background check so we know you have honest employees.

Some of the caregivers are good, but some of them just don't know what they're doing.
Some of the caregivers before our current one didn't even know what they were doing. They didn't even know how to boil water.

The ones from other agencies didn't keep her active. They just fed her and took her to the bathroom, then laid her down. This caregiver keeps her busy and active. She keeps her moving for the majority of the time she is here.
We have had caregivers from other agencies. This caregiver has done way more than caregivers from other agencies.

I would like them to send some more experienced people. Some of the ones who have come have no background in patient care.
I don't have any problem recommending them. They are reliable. However, they have never met their clients before the first time they come.

They were there when he needed them. It just took one phone call and within 3 hours someone was here.
I had to do everything over the phone since the shutdown and it was all done very nicely and professionally. He had very nice things to say about those that came to help.

We have been approved for 15 hours and only use 8. We wanted 3 hours five days a week. But we are satisfied with it now because we have a live-in caregiver so it is a different situation now.
They are good, and I would recommend them because they sent us a caregiver.

The problem is is that him and his daughters want something different. We want to make sure that he eats. He will tell them that he isn't hungry, but they need to be pushy with it and make sure he eats.
They are very attentive.

My dad is incontinent, so they clean him, and they wash his clothes. They get him prepared for dialysis three times a week and take him there. The list goes on and on about what they do.
They are family run, super responsive, and very easy to work with. They text me, and they are honestly the best agency I have worked with.

I only have her two days for 4.5 hours a week. I try to get a much done as I need to like odd jobs like bills. I try to go to appointments but I wish I could have her more.
I like the person they sent to me. Last week she was unable to come, and I asked if she could work another two days. I was willing to work with that because I like her so much

We got Help and Care for Mom. We really like the caregiver. She's prompt, courteous, attentive, and compassionate. The agency answers promptly; if we have to change the time, they call her, and she changes her schedule to fit our needs. She helps in bathing, dressing, appointments, and cleans her room.

Markus and Vassilina are growing Help and Care very rapidly because they are staying true to their mission and employing highly qualified and trained staff who are dedicated to helping the old, sick and infirm to live comfortably and safely in their homes . I highly recommend them to anyone needing in-home care in Saratoga, Los Gatos and nearby towns.
