Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

The agency sends me the same caregivers, and they know what I need.
I like the agency because they are very careful and send me excellent caregivers.

We only had them for about 3 days a week and the impact was according to how often they could get the same person to help us. The caregivers could have had a greater impact if they had been trained more so they could actually accomplish the tasks without having to have a person continually helping them or telling them how to do it.
I don't know if they do this or not, but I think maybe sometimes there's not enough training for when they do specific things like making beds and taking care of the kitchen when you need it.

We had one person that wasn't a great fit. They were able to replace her. They are accommodating, & their caregivers are top notch.
They are just professional. I don't feel like other agencies have as high standards.

They just need their caregivers to be more trained.
They could be more sensitive to the clients and get the workers better trained on what the client needs as far as equipment and things they have problems with.

The caregiver that I enjoy so much was replaced by a brand new caregiver that I didn't know. It was hard because she was asking me all these questions, and I hadn't slept, but I needed to explain how I like things.
The caregivers vary, and being 95, the changes are hard to handle.

They keep me company and ask what I need. If i need something, they make sure I get it. If I need something to drink, they will make me tea. If I don't care to sit and talk, we don't do that. They are very responsive to my needs.
They were very considerate, helpful, and not intrusive.

They definitely increased his quality of care. They communicated with him and found out what might make him happy that day or watch a movie with him after the care was done.
The paid attention to detail, and they always followed through. They would get back up if the usual caregiver wasn't available.

I think that companionship was the big thing. They took her to appointments, which was important.
They were very accountable, and the caregiver was on time. If I had a concern, I would talk to the owner, and they would address any issue that we had.

The caregiver we had most of the time was very friendly and made my wife feel comfortable when it could have been scary for her to have someone else in the home.
The most important thing was that the owner gave us a lot of guidance in an area in which we were unfamiliar. The caregivers are great too.

The whole team at Right at Home was outstanding. They responded immediately to my call, sending the owner the same afternoon to assess our needs and meet my dad. David was an excellent listener and very accommodating. They setup overnight care immediately and then setup round the clock care as soon as we needed it.
