Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

I help out with my own loved one as their caregiver by washing clothes and sorting them, cooking, cleaning, helping out with equipment in the restroom, and lots of other stuff for their daily life that they need.
Whatever we need, we have been able to get from them to, so we are satisfied and would certainly recommend the services.

I think the people need to be interviewed before they are sent out. Some of the caregivers were very poor.

The caregiver takes me for walks, which I really enjoy but my wife doesn't let me walk alone anymore. So the caregiver will walk with me instead and I really like that.
Right at Home could improve their communication. The caregiver who comes to me from Right at Home is very kind, gentle, and takes interest in me as a person, which I really like. She gets her business done and I enjoy her company.

It's necessary. Since I'm her caregiver otherwise, it makes it possible for me to get her in and out of bed and it frees me up to do other things I have to do.
The people have been prompt, friendly, they like who they work for, and everyone who works there have been very helpful.

Managing the employees better, they just look at their manuals, I have to give them information.
I think some Caretakers are very good, and some aren't, I get irritated with the schedulers. Have to get newly orientated.

I have chosen Right at Home Temecula for my parents. They provide general care. We had a little problem in the beginning because they were sending out some younger people who didn't know how to cook and things like that. We went through a couple of weeks of growing pains until we got the right caregivers. You can't really fault them though because a lot of their normal caregivers were not coming back to work because of the unemployment situation and COVID. Scheduling and billing are fine; everything is good.

Their system has a working notebook and whoever works with her takes notes in it for current situations. I don't have to take a lot of time to explain things with a new person because it is all right there. They do a good job with summarizing things that I can read when I get home.
I liked that when I am calling last minute, they were able to find a qualified person to stay with her.

It was a lot better than nothing because he found most of the caregivers kind and their intent was to be good and helpful but some were not as well trained as others and he was not able to get the caregivers that he really liked on a consistent basis.
They could provide more consistent care on the level that they provided for him with a couple of caregivers he had.
