I would tell a friend that Home Helpers is wonderful, and the caregivers are very nice. Home Helpers has made life easier by helping me walk and by doing everything I could ask for.

I haven't used the services in a while because we have a private caregiver now, but I am really happy with Home Helpers. They train their employees, and they seem to be able to come in and know what Joan's needs are. I call them when the caregiver we use now can't make it. When my regular caregiver can't make it, I call Home Helpers, and they are able to help me.

It's been a really great experience with Home Helpers, and the owner has been great in helping. The caregivers have been wonderful, she does a great job, and she's a great cook. She is encouraging my friend to be active in as far as walking. She's very good all the way around, and she's very punctual.

I saw a Home Helper's ad in a local newspaper. I called them and Cheryl was so great. She came over and made a couple of really good suggestions. She provided us a male caregiver which was what we wanted. His name is Jim. The moment we met him, we knew he was the one. He's been with us now for 2 years. He and my husband, Cliff are like bestfriends. He does so many things for us. He even fixes things around the house that we are not capable of fixing. It's like having a son, really. He takes Cliff to meetings or to his Physiotherapy, Occupational and Speech therapy. I feel that because of Jim, Cliff's Parkinsons is not progressing as fast as others. He has other health problems like Atrial fibrillation and Jim has just been there for all of that. I can't speak highly enough of him. We're very fortunate. We never had a problem.
Cheryl is on top of everything. She calls and just want to know how things are going.

I recommend Home Helpers very highly. They made sure that there was somebody there to cover in case the main caregivers are not available. All the girls they sent to help my wife were very caring. Each one has their own things to do and they did a very good job in taking care of my wife.
