About This Community

.We have been in business for about 11 years. We specialize in providing professional caregivers to come into the home to assist clients with maintaining their independence. We can help with activities from light housekeeping, laundry, and meal planning & preparation all the way through providing personal care needs such as bathing, dressing and walking assistance. We are a quality home care provider able to care for people of all ages who want to remain in the comfort of their homes and not burden their families. We strive to ensure home care services provided are nothing less than what we would want for ourselves or our family members. Assistance In Home Care has been caring for clients for over 10 years. We are proud to say we have assisted over 800 clients that include seniors, children, veterans, developmentally disabled and many short term recovery clients wanting to remain in the comfort of their homes.

My dad has dementia and Parkinson's. I was overwhelmed so the VA sent me someone. I loved Barbara, and at the beginning, everything was going great. They need to help the veteran and the family. Bonnie, who I think was an office manager. talked to Barbara, the caregiver, and told her she wasn't supposed to be doing what she was doing, because I share the bathroom and kitchen with my dad. It made my dad uncomfortable that Barbara just had to sit there.

Joan just started hospice, and so it's different now than it has been. Right now, I think the companionship as she is being taken care of throughout the day by the caregivers has really helped her. There are several different things on why I like Assistance in Home Care. The communication between the office and the caregivers is excellent, the communication between the office and me is excellent, and when there are areas of concerns, they are proactive on taking care of it.
