My mom required care during two phases of the aging process. First when she was mentally and physically well but slowing down and requiring help with ambulating. Secondly when she was placed under hospice care. The care worker developed a bond with my mom which brought her comfort. Gratefully her care worker would gently cajole her into short trips out when she saw my mom becoming sad. When hospice care was necessary the care worker circle expanded. Not only was my mom provided with assistance and comfort but my brother and I were provided with assistance and comfort as well. During both phases we found the care givers to be dependable and supportive assisting as we required. We are very appreciative to Home Instead for the assistance and comfort provided to our family.

To get started, a Representative came to our home to obtain details about my dad. She also gave us important information that we need to know about the company and their staff. The caregiver who they sent to us has been absolutely wonderful. She is kind, patience, and knowledgeable of how to work with my dad, who has dementia. She is always on time and ready to work when she arrives. She is friendly, easy to talk to, and listens to instructions well. Our family couldn't ask for a better person to work with my dad.
This tells me that the company screens their candidates pretty well so that they can send out the best for the families they take on as clients. And a added bonus is, the agency is easy to contact if u run into any problems day or night.

Had in home caregiver twice a week to help bath, dementia client. She did anything needed to complete the task. Very gental and caring, even when temper was a little high. Need 24/7 care, now. Highly recommended.

We are currently using Home Instead for mom, and I'm happy with them. They do tube feeding, take her to the bathroom, and change her. The billing is fine, on schedule, and they always have someone for me. I like this caregiver; she's very accommodating.

It took us three days to get a caregiver from Home Instead Senior Care. The caregivers cook for my dad, give him medications, provide companionship, and make sure he gets to doctors' appointments. My dad likes his caregivers.

We have had Home Instead assisting with the care of my elderly mother. They are a wonderful care provider. Their communication system is consistently reliable. Their staff is kind and caring and more importantly, my mother looks forward to her time with their staff.
