Teresa from Amada provided in home care for my mother for about 2 years. My mom had numerous health issues and was very picky about her home and health care. The only word that describes Teresa is , "perfect." She was always kind and compassionate. When my father came home from a skilled nursing facility, he needed home care and had a long-term care insurance policy. Fred helped us understand and navigate the complicated insurance process. This was a Godsend. (This contrasted greatly with another senior care company that told us we were on our own wrt insurance filing– and couldn’t even tell us if my Dad’s required care would qualify. We’d see after filing a claim…). Fred and Jonathan visited my parents many times and brought flowers to my Dad when he was in the hospital. We think of them, and many of their caretakers as family. When my Dad passed, Fred attended the funeral – which touched us deeply. We highly recommend Amada.

They really care, they really work with me, and they send competent people. I can't get around very easily, so they help me do that. I had a leg amputation and go to dialysis three times a week, and they are very helpful.

They worked with us with our scheduling issues and the caregiver we have is outstanding and it has worked out well. My mother in law adores the gal that is caring for her. It has made our life easier. We don't have to be there 24/7 because we can depend on the caregiver to help her dress and get around. It really helps us not have to consistently worry and it has taken a lot of stress away.

I would use them again because some of them were very good, but some of them were horrendous. It was a 50/50 crap shoot.
