I contacted thrive after my uncle had fallen and broke his hip 84 years old and in need of care for staying at home. The staff kept a notebook of his daily needs shower breakfast doing his laundry making sure his meals were set up checking his blood sugar and making sure his pills were being taken. They showed up on time he had three different caregivers for six hours Seven days a week for the first month it was most unfortunate that it was expensive and that we just couldn’t have them care for him .the staff kept me informed of who is going to be showing up on which days and if there was any changes they notified me immediately I a greatly appreciate that because I am out of state from where my uncle was so much thanks to them and their staff. Sorry that we couldn’t keep going with your services due to expenses thank you

I hired Thrive Home Care for my brother, and they're good. They do personal care and they provide help with whatever he needs. The caregivers are very good. It's expensive but they're excellent. My brother has been using them for a few years now; he's doing 24 hours a day.

We used Thrive Home Care to try to get caregivers at home for my parents, and that was a disaster. It did not work out. We used them for two weeks and we probably had three different caregivers. The 1st caregiver quit after the first day, then they found someone for the next day, and she quit after two days. In fact, she wanted to move in with my parents, which we were not comfortable with, so then she said, " OK, I'm going somewhere else." There were a few days they couldn't find any caregiver, and I had to take off from work. The 3rd caregiver showed up for just two days, then we got back the 2nd caregiver who had quit, but she would be particular about the kind of things she did, so the whole thing was a mess. I had to take off days from work because of the last minute cancellations from the caregivers. It would have been better upfront if they said they can't take care of our mom, that she really needs to go into a home or move into an assisted living. I think it was too stressful. My mom needs help getting up, going to the bathroom, bathing, getting her out to bed and getting her back to bed, the activities of daily living. It was supposed to be Monday to Friday for six hours a day. They were completely unreliable and had no consistency among the staff. In fact, the 2nd caregiver tried to find out from my parents how much we were paying the agency because she was trying to cut out the agency, go direct, and make more money. That was a long conversation she had with my parents. They were both elderly and I don't need to put that kind of stress on them. I've told Thrive that we had lots of issues with them and their caregivers quitting, and we had to put my parents in a home. They never called back to ask for feedback, which was so surprising. I'm guessing none of these is a surprise for them. They probably have lots of issues.

I appreciate very much all you did for us, all the special care you offered as my husband's condition was changing so fast, and what I needed from you kept changing. It was all so stressful....never a day of just "normal" home care, it seems. And you were wonderfully responsive to every need. Thank you again, I will recommend your agency very highly to anyone who wants home care.

I used Thrive but if I need another caretaker, I won't go back to them. The first two or three people were excellent and really good. I was impressed and happy with them. I needed three or four more after that, but they weren't able to get me the same people I did originally and I understand that, but they gave me people that I had to call them about and tell them I didn't want them, send me somebody else. They were very inexperienced and bordering on incompetence. The person coordinating all this drives me crazy. He won't get back to me when I ask him to. I hope he would just tell me if he couldn't reach the person I wanted and don't leave me hanging the whole day. Also, he hounds me about the payment and makes it sounds like Thrive is going bankrupt the way he's hounding me about the money when it's only been a couple of days. It gets really tiring and borders on harassment. Should I need another caretaker, I'll look for another company.

Thrive was excellent. We were given the care we needed. They were willing to meet my needs, and sent me somebody when I was in need. They were always available.

Staff of the Thrive Homecare are wonderful. They were just a great people to work with.Their caregivers that was assign to my mother did an excellent job with her.They often call me for any updates or asked how things are going. We were pleased with the caregiver from Thrive Home Care. They do daily care everyday for about 4 hours a day, and she was very good and excellent. We have been using them for about four months, and we are satisfied.

if only I could give them 6 stars I would. Thrive caregivers and in home care was extremely professional, helpful and sympathetic to our needs especially when we were going through hospice care for my grandfather . They were very resourceful and extremely professional . They provided us with documents highlighting their proof of insurance and coverage. They carefully screen their employees and that gave us a lot of comfort and peace of mind wth affordable cost.

I was Extremely Satisfied with thrive Homecare. This agency was recommended to us when my father is in one of the Nursing Skilled facility in El Sobrante during his rehab. They definitely open to our concerns about my father's care.We have three different Caregivers for my father. They were knowledgeable and did an excellent jod for him. They came to work on time and they make sure that my father is comfortable.

Thrive Homecare was supporting my mother since May 2014. They did absolutely outstanding job for her. They always have a coverage everytime we asked for it.
