Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

Lena wasn't wanting to at first, but as time went on, she really enjoyed Jennifer's company.
They were very time considerate, and I know them because they were parishioners at the church, which helped me to trust them.

The client's experience has been positive because the caregiver knows what her needs are and can get her to do things that the rest of the family cannot convince her to do.
I would recommend this agency because they give good care, but the communication could be a bit better.

The caregiver is there helping with my mom doing anything and everything we could ever want for her. My mom waits for her to come since she likes the undivided attention which I can't do all the time.
I have and would recommend them as they are very easy to use and are very handy.

Whatever they could do to make my life easier for me is going to cost me money. I would like for them to sit with him while I go do things. Today, they only showered him, because it took him a while to eat. They are helpful when he is willing. I don't know what all I need.
I like the people that come to my home. I haven't had any problems with them. They are nice.

It has helped since now I know that people are checking in on my parents with me being away.
They need to check in with their caregivers more often to make sure they follow protocols.

Right at Home is professional and cares about its clients.
It's not Right at Home's fault, but we just have had a lot of changes in caregivers and there is a problem in getting consistent caregivers. The caregivers who come Monday through Friday are very caring and professional.

My husband looks forward to the caregivers coming. The caregivers have helped the most by giving him peri care in the morning. They get him dressed in the morning. They do that the most.
Even though the caregiver is excellent, when the she started, she did a lot more than she is doing now,

Almost every caregiver we have had hasn't worked out. They were always late and aren't as good as our current caregiver. However our current caregiver is great.

I cannot think of anything for them to improve. They come in at night and my mother hasn't complained about anything yet, so I guess they are of good quality.
I would recommend it to people but they are a bit expensive. So far they have sent a couple of good caregivers and we have no complaints.

I couldn't do it without them! They help my husband with brushing his teeth in the dining room because it is more convenient since his is in a wheel chair.
I have been there for about eight or nine years now. When my needs change they are cooperative and are willing to work with me depending on what is needed.

I only have them once a week but they really help me around the house, like they cleaned out the fridge for me one day.
I like that when someone can't make it they will call around and find me a caregiver.

I do need the support. She's very active with him and takes care of everything.
It depends on the person who's coming and how well we can work with them and how able they are. The one who's coming now is the very best. If they're doing puzzles, I want him to do it and not them.

My mom really doesn't want anyone there so that makes things hard. They just mostly need to be communicating what the caregivers are supposed to do when they come. One caregiver helps change the sheets on the bed.
I would like them to have better communication in regards to what care is going to be provided.

She is looking for a companion, but also somebody who could do some light housekeeping and cleaning and cooking for her, and that is hard to find. It is fine, she is just picky.
I like how flexible they are and their caregivers are very good quality.

They have an employee who comes Monday through Saturday from 9 to 1, and she knows how to read the needs of the patient. If my mom is sleeping, she will go around the house and clean stuff. She doesn't have to wait to be told what to do. They should have that girl give a presentation to the rest of the employees about what needs to be done. Others need a shove in the right direction when they get there. They just need some more training.
They are a little more personal than the other agency.

They let me go back to work before all of this COVID happened. They helped with picking things up for us, washed out dishes, and things like that without being asked to do them.

Sometimes if they are supposed to be here in the morning, they are always telling me that they have to come 5 min before so that they can go over what I need, but they never come 5 min early and then I don't get the time to explain to them what I need.

My dad lives an hour away from me and my siblings, so they are a blessing to our family.
They are very flexible and they will get you a person where and when you need it to do anything for you. I called and they had a person at my dad's house in 30 minutes.

I think that it is very helpful for my mom because there is somebody with her, and she has gotten to know them. She gets to chat with her a lot. I love the service. I think it is wonderful. It is such a relief for my brother and I knowing my mom has somebody there to talk to and have meals made. It is a godsend, as far as I am concerned.
I am long distance, and I still feel like I can talk to Right at Home because they understand what I need, and they implement what my mom needs.

They come every day, otherwise, my son or daughter would have to pitch in and take care of things, which they do on weekends, but it is wonderful to have the caregiver all the time. It makes it easy for my family.
The regular caregiver took a vacation a week or so ago, and they sent a substitute, and she was a lovely and sweet girl. The regular girl is a good caregiver and a wonderful cook. I always told the previous owner that he should pay her just to be a cook because she is that good.

They have been pretty terrific. It's been traumatic having things happen. I live at the beach, and it's a tough parking area, and a three-story building, but they work hard to make it work and help each other.
I have no complaints. They are helpful, and they have gone overboard doing things, helping me, and fixing meals.

My caregiver is very helpful. She will go to the grocery store for me as I can't do that anymore and she always gets the right things for me, like specific brands and such. She will water the lawn for me as well. It's been great having her help.
My caregiver is wonderful. She's been with me for over a year and I would never ask for anyone else.
