I am a family member overseeing the care of my cousin. I live in Canada and had to get homecare set up from there with only 4 hours until my relative was sent home from hospital. I researched and found Home Instead to have an excellent rating. I called and spoke to Krystina who was helpful and reassuring. By the time my cousin arrived home, Ceceila was there to greet her and provide assistance. Being in Canada, this provided the security I needed to make sure my cousin was cared for until I could arrive myself. We have 24 hr care set up with excellent caregivers. After having the service for a week, we hand picked the caregivers my cousin loved and the service accommodated our request without any hesitation. The caregivers are on time, reliable, professional yet friendly, caring and top notch where skills are needed to care for my cousin's needs. Cecilia, Rose, Kimberly, and Sunait go above and beyond to make sure Marilyn is comfortable, happy and safe. They all have a great sense of humor and interact well with Marilyn as well as with me. We don't see Alysa or Alexandra as much, but they try their best to keep Marilyn positive and comfortable as well as did Lily when she was here. The agency is lucky to have these dedicated, empathetic caring and skilled individuals as part of their team. Hopefully the agency provides incentives to retain such excellent employees as our successful experience thus far has rested upon the wonderful care workers taking care of Marilyn. I would recommend Home Instead to others at the blink.of an eye and I have already done so.

Home instead care is the way to go! Shivanni in scheduling tends to do a great job of any shifts that need to be changed for me, it’s never an issue and always a quick phone call at that. Irish In QA is amazing! He often stops by to say hello and assures my wife Mary’s needs are met completely. As for Alissa who’s been our caregiver for the last four months has done a beautiful job with Mary, she’s absolutely fond of her always coming in with a smile. Pride yourselfs on the caregivers who put love into their work everyday as it does not go unnoticed.

I had extreme needs for both my aging parents simultaneously. Home Instead staff were compassionate and empathetic to the stress I was under and helpful to assess the needs of both my parents and myself. The administrative and caregiving staff were professional, accommodating, and very, very caring, becoming like family that I really needed around me during a time of grief and overwhelming priorities. I have had to utilize care giving companies in the past for other family members. Home Instead far outshines my other experiences in service, dedication and true care both for the patient and the family caregivers!

My care giver was always on time. He was very friendly and happy to assist in any way he could. He is a real credit to his company. They, in turn, are very professional in all their dealings and great to do business with. Responsive must be their middle name!

The caregiver works the hours/days he says he will work and is always on time. If there are any areas of concern regarding our family member, the caregiver always contacts us. The agency was able to provide a caregiver very quickly when we needed one and the caregiver has worked out extremely well.

Communicating with the office was easy and efficient. They listened well, so establishing the type of care I needed was great. I needed someone to transport me to and from a medical treatment, and briefly look after me after that treatment. The person who helped me was pleasant, efficient, patient, and prompt. He listened and understood what I needed. I could not imagine him doing a better job. I would strongly recommend Home Instead based on this experience. Even this statement does not fully express my satisfaction for the excellence of care that I received.

We are so very grateful to the team for the care, compassion and grace you showed our family. From the start of the process we felt safe and comfortable. Our day caregiver Martha was so kind, wonderful and loving. Janet was absolutely perfect for the evening shift. She was spunky, sweet and very committed to care. Both felt like an extension of our family. Although Babs passed so quickly - it was a long fought battle. And we are grateful she is out of pain. Thank you for being there for us.

Home Instead provided services for my father. The aides were helpful and attentive, always friendly. Very professional in their duties. Aides were on time and reliable. All interactions were professional. You need to be clear with the scheduler about duties you wish aides to do with patient. The agency was forthcoming with all requests.

My mother has a caretaker from Home Instead Senior Care. It's OK. There are things that we requested that are not being done, but the caregiver is very sweet and she tries. Meal prep sometimes isn't done, but she may be following orders from my mom. I need them to call me or my brother first if they feel that my mom isn't making the correct judgment, but it seems to be working out pretty well. The agency contacts us when they have a question.

We had a scheduled time for my father with a caregiver for the first time. Showed up late and was unprofessional. Asked if we can get the time back since he was late. He said no. He didn't take responsibility for himself or nor did the company.

When I started with the Home Instead Senior Care from Palm Desert, CA I was slowly going down down hill, not being able to keep up with my basic needs due to health issues, but with their assistance we have made great progress towards maintaining a solid life now. Their assistance has been a God send....

Home Instead has been excellent. We have them watch over my mom, make meals, and give medication.
