Millenia Personal Care Services employs caregivers of various cultural backgrounds to complement their culturally diverse client base. Thirty percent of caregivers are certified nursing assistants. All staff members must demonstrate their skill proficiency through a written assessment before being hired. The "Welcome Home" program helps clients transition to everyday life after discharge from a facility. The program includes an initial assessment and home safety evaluation, a welcome home kit and a two-hour visit on the day of discharge"”all free of charge. Although Millenia does not offer a sliding scale, discounts are offered on a case-by-case basis.
