Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

I have a good caregiver, it all depends on the caregiver. My caregiver shows up when they are supposed to be there which relies on the agency being good as well.
I have this very good caregiver who I like, that's why I would recommend the agency.

We never have a set schedule and we don't know who to expect or when to expect them. They don't keep the same people for the clients that have Alzheimer's.
They need to keep their word when they tell the clients things.

The caregivers bring breakfast with them at the door. The ladies drive so they have a vehicle to help my mom out.
They were very easy and worked with my needs and my mother's needs. They followed my instructions, so things went smoothly.

I broke two hips and I've had back surgery, so I'm confined to a wheelchair. I need a whole lot of attention.
I have one person that is super good and he gives me a shower and helps me with walking. The other people didn't help me too much with those things because I'm a little large.

They should be more experienced, some of the people they send out say they have knowledge, and they don't, at least not for what we need.
I am able to have the hours that I want, the girls they send are pleasant and capable.

Sometimes they're unreliable and they'll call us at the last minute. We have to scour to find someone to fill in for them.
We don't have very many caregivers come in, just one or two that know who she is, but I feel that they do a sufficient job with those two.

When the caregivers are here, they have a good impact on my mom's live. When they are not here, or when the caregivers are not good, it causes confusion and panic for my mom. She has PTSD from a past event and having so many different caregivers panics her. This morning, I noticed that she kept backing up and looking at the caregiver and kept yelling, who are you?!
I wouldn't recommend Right at Home. My mom gets way too many caregivers, and several times they have not shown up to their shifts. Once we were told a caregiver was waiting for an hour, but we never saw them, and the company told us that we had cancelled the shift, which we did not.

I like a really clean house, but my caregivers haven't quite gotten there yet. Then I moved to the house in front of me, and so we are working on getting everything cleaned up. Otherwise, they take great care of me.
I like the caregivers who come to help me because they have a desire to help me. One who knows I haven't had my coffee yet, will go ahead and make it for me.

Sometimes they wouldn't show up and they wouldn't call me about it.
They had no back up plans so we went days without care. They could have worked on getting a back up person.

We used Right at Home Rancho Cucamonga for a 1-day thing. So far, the care they provided was adequate. I was pleased with the caregiver that we had. She was prompt, knowledgeable and caring. I think that the price is too expensive. She administered the medication on time and kept my wife dry and clean. I would recommend this agency to others.

For her needs, she feels that they're adequate, but I would like to see more. I need to work that out between the caregiver and my mother because there's a communication gap between them.
I've had a couple of incidents where they need to follow up with some of my instructions. We said we didn't need care for a particular day, and the caregiver didn't get the message, so they showed up to the house anyway. That's happened a couple of times.

They make sure they have long care and feed her 3 meals a day. They make sure she gets the entire package.
They offer gloves and disposables for the care at home, so you don't have to worry about that.

The services are great, they are very understanding, and they have a lot of compassion. Right at Home has always done great by us, but their hands are tied by In of Age. In of Age is who is paying for the services.

I need some help with cleaning the bathroom, such as mopping the shower and cleaning a chair I have in the shower. Unfortunately, some of the caregivers were a little immature in their work.
I only get the services for a few hours a week, but I would like them more time. I'm old, so I need their services.

So far the service from Right at Home Rancho Cucamonga has been really great. They've been very helpful. They're very flexible. Like if I need to cancel, it's not a big deal, and if I need them to come in earlier they try to be here earlier. They assist my mom by just being there. And when I got sick and my dad had to take my mom to urgent care, they helped him do that.

It is just a small part of my mom's life, but they are a part that is important.
They are readily available, and I can call them anytime. They are usually pretty responsive, and the people they provide do a pretty good job.
