As a long standing Bay Home Care Services client, I am more than pleased to share my thoughts with the professional care that I have received from Bay Home Care Services from June, 2020 to September, 2022, and again from December, 2022 to January, 2023. As a live-alone widower, I have had two contracts with BHCS. The first was for a dislocated hip recovery. The second contract was for bacterial pneumonia complicated with a heart problem. At this time, I have fully recovered from both episodes. I credit a major factor in my recovery for the excellent post-hospital care that I received from BHCS. During my tenure under BHCS, I worked with management (Diana and Tahmineh) and four caregivers. I found that this team from BHCS to be highly professional, competent, and extremely caring about my rehabilitation during my contracts with the Company... If, indeed, I should experience another condition in which would require post-hospital home care, my first call will be to Bay Home Care services!

Bay Home Care Services provided my wife and I with outstanding services and we heartily recommend them. We needed help with light chores, driving my wife to medical appointments and shopping for groceries. Our caregiver was more than a caregiver -- always on time, flexible for doctors appointments, fun to be around, and very supportive with everything required. I am so happy to have discovered Bay Home Care Services. I don’t know where we would be without them, as no other home care agency was able to follow through on promises to provide skilled caregiving for my mom who is now in advanced old age with serious difficulties on many fronts. We are still able to keep mom at home largely because Bay Home Care provided us with a caregiver who is not only loving and kind, but skilled in transfers to/from her wheelchair, and gifted also in dementia care. Other agencies used a lot of my time discussing our needs, but were unable to follow through. Interviewing the unqualified candidates they sent us is not something I have time or energy for, while trying to manage my mom’s complicated care. Having revealed the depth of our needs, other agencies (whose advertising had promised the sky) did not even bother to answer my inquiries! Not only was Bay Home Care able to provide me with “boots on the ground” – the actual skills without which all the talk is such a waste of time – but their office support has also been wonderful. The staff has been pleasant, friendly, responsive, and accommodating. To my great relief, I don’t feel like I’m dealing with a faceless company. They did not subject me to any of the corporate behavior I find so insulting – i.e. the glib marketing pitches that lead nowhere, except to increasing my own stress and fatigue from trying to provide 24 hr hospital-level care in the home without being a health professional myself. The great support of Bay Home Care has brought me peace of mind in the knowledge that my mom is as safe as possible, with her many needs kindly and capably looked after. Our caregiver has never been late, in fact she always arrives a few minutes early. After acting as mom’s caregiver myself for the past fifteen years, I considered myself “the expert” on her daily needs. Whether from fatigue or general burn-out, I was wrong however: After our Bay Home caregiver took the initiative to suggest important improvements to mom’s nutrition and safety, her condition not only stabilized, it greatly improved! Her physicians are pleased! She is also much calmer and happier. Our family is most fortunate to have our mother so well looked after by Bay Home Care Services!

My family needed help ASAP when my mother was released from the hospital. We tried a few places, but Bay Home Care was able to get somebody to the house on a temporary basis almost immediately while they arranged for someone long term. We've been very happy with the care and help they provide for my mom. They're not only good company, but are able to be very persistent to make sure she does her exercises. They've been very responsive to scheduling changes, even on relatively short notice, and have never been late.

We found a caregiver through Bay Home Care Services who's been working with my dad for about two month now. Overall, we're very happy with the individual who's caring for my dad. She's been very caring, very professional, very punctual and also very flexible in the event that we have a change in schedule or something like that. The individual who helped us coordinate and get the caretaker in place has also been great; very understanding, very supportive, very professional and very timely in terms of feedback and response. I would say in general, we're very pleased.
