Morgan Hill is a difficult area; I have been trying to get caregivers to come in, but because it’s a distance from San Jose, they have a very difficult time in accommodating us. We have Guidance Home Care, which is very expensive because we are very far away. It costs $1,700 a month. It’s very expensive to have somebody come in for 24-hour care. The girl they sent me is excellent and outstanding. I don’t know if they can always find somebody as good as she is. My husband is very tall and heavy, and she is able to handle him. I have help a couple of days a week. They get him up in the morning, bathe him, dress him, feed him and do range of motion exercises with him. They try to keep him dry during the day and entertain him.
