We got Alarys Home Health Inc for my dad, and they’ve been very helpful. They were very prompt in their response, they’re very helpful advising us on how to get VA support, and they’re very helpful in providing us an assistant for my father, which is his preference. The caregiver has worked out beautifully, he’s extremely polite with my father, very respectful, and he will do anything that we ask of him. His primary duties are to assist my father with his personal care, but he also helps with light housekeeping, which assists me greatly. He is extremely polite and supportive.

I work as a Case Manager and one of my job duties is to authorize services for my caseload. My go-to agency is Alarys. Once I submit a referral for attendant care services I am confident that either David. Lashanda or Sandi will work on it right away and will keep me posted. They don't just send any caregiver to my patients, they make sure they are a good match/fit. My patients who receive services from this provider are satisfied with them as well. Makes my job easier. We are using Alarys Home Health for my mother. When I have to run out and I need to be gone, they come and sit with her. I try to give them at least a three-day notice, but they have been able to do it within a 24-hour notice on an emergency basis. If I was going to be gone all day, I instruct them on what I have in the refrigerator and what she needs to eat, because she is diabetic. They cook for her, and they'll wash the dishes that they use while they're sitting with her. On occasion, they load the laundry for her. What I really appreciate is they take the time to help her with personal grooming. I come back, and I see that her hair has been fixed or they painted her nails or they've done something special. The last few aides I've had have been very prompt and on time. If the need arises, they can stay a few extra minutes, if I'm running behind in traffic or something.
