Who is Right at Home Northwest Phoenix?
Right at Home is one of the nation’s leaders in providing in-home care services. Right at
Home specializes in home care, facility care and assistance for seniors and disabled
adults. Our goal is to keep each client in their familiar surroundings as long as possible
improving their quality of life, while maintaining their dignity and respect. We are flexible
and do as little as 1 hour per week up to 24 hours per day 7 day a week.
Why home care instead of an independent or assisted community?
Home is where the heart is. Home care is an alternative to moving to an independent or
assisted living community. Our homes are familiar and comfortable; they hold many
memories of family and with the good times with old friends and neighbors! Home care
allows the ability to have “one on one” care on your schedule; this allows you to have
personalized care with a caregiver that knows you and what you like. Most of the time,
home care can be very cost effective and gives you the ability to stay at home and
maintain your quality of life. This also allows you to maintain your privacy, dignity and
independence by staying in the place that means the most-HOME.
How do we develop a plan to help my loved one?
From the moment Right at Home receives your phone call, we begin considering the
needs for your loved one. When discussing your situation, we will set–up a home
assessment to finalize your plan of care and go over our service agreement. When
starting service, a staff member does a caregiver introduction along with in-person
training for your loved one’s specific needs.

We offer 1 hour visits up to 24 hour care.
All caregivers are our employees and are fully insured, bonded and screened.
You are not locked into a contract. We have a service agreement that discloses
pricing and what to expect. You may cancel at anytime without penalties.

We hire caring, kind and compassionate individuals who want to make a difference in the
lives of seniors. One of our sayings: “We will not hire an employee unless we would let
that employee care for our own parents.” Our caregivers are trained and we provide
additional training when special situations come up. Right at Home offers online training,
resources, and requires quarterly in-person training. Here are some of our requirements

When I had emergency needs I was helped right away. They helped me in unpleasant situations after my surgery and helped clean me up after accidents.
I liked the care provider that I had. I liked that if my care provider was sick they could get someone else here quickly.

The caregivers assigned to us are not always female and sometimes they complain that they aren't trained to do the things we need.
I think that the company could provide more caregivers, especially more female caregivers.

They could have been more consistent with the caregivers.
Some of their caregivers were not the best, and there was a lot of turnover. Being ex-military, he likes routine, so he didn't like that they were changing people all the time.

There is always room for improvement, but they helped and made it easy to schedule the caregiver. I never seem to know until the last minute that I needed one, and they were easy to work with.
They are very easy to work with. It was very easy for me to schedule the neighbor that worked for them and work with them.

They do what I ask them to do. He was a fall risk and has dementia, so they help him exercise and take showers. Even the caregiver that was there would always contact me because I am not there 24 hours a day.
They were always there answering questions, and when I had the transition happening, they gave me good suggestions in how to transfer the care.

She gets a bath twice a week. It's something I can't take care of. My mom really likes the gal that comes, but she comes late often. She seems to have something that comes up every time, but my mom is fine with it.
They are easy to work with and are honest. They are fair. If we have a problem, they will adjust the price each month. They let us know of anything down the road.

Right at Home has been fantastic. My husband has dementia and he had to have someone that had an experience with dementia. Also, he is quite heavy and I had to have someone who could transfer him. They worked with me and they have found me a wonderful lady that can do all that. They provide what he needs. He has to have his Depends changed periodically and he has to be moved around. They are here every Wednesday afternoon. They also give him a snack. They have worked with me so well. I'm very happy with our choice.

Yesterday, there was a caregiver here who was fantastic and I know that my loved one wants her back. She was everything that she wanted. She was perfect. They just started the care recently, but the caregivers are not all the same. They do the little things for her and it is nice to find someone who irons clothes anymore.
