Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

My dad is very picky and very private, but he did really well with the caregiver that came. My dad actually invited the young lady that came to come back.
The whole experience with Right at Home was really nice. I talked to the regional director and told her my concerns, and she really put me at ease.

The provider has helped the most because they developed a relationship with my mom. The people that she has been with have been very caring and genuinely wanting to help her.
I like that they are very personable and they will do what they say they are going to do and I was very impressed with Larry and he spent sometime with my mom and I thought that he was very impressive.

We've used Right at Home Hot Springs Village. They help with meal preparation, bathing, dressing, and some light house work. The caregivers are all well-trained. There was a high turnover in the business, so you don't get the same caregiver regularly. And every time there's a new caregiver, then I have to go through a new orientation as to what my expectations are. They know what they're doing and they show up on time. I was satisfied. The only thing that would make it better if there was more consistency in caregivers, but that's something they can't control. And that's one of the main reasons why I went with a private caregiver.

She does everything that I ask her to do. She has only one arm, but she can do everything. She drives, does my watering, and vacuums.
Whenever I call and I need them, they find someone for me. It is usually just once a week that someone comes for me. She takes me where I need to go.

Irene knows the services are necessary, but she wished she didn't have to do it. They are helpful for her.
We had a little trouble with the morning and evening services. There are several girls that come. One of which wasn't doing her job correctly. The boss said that Irene is too old to not notice, however, Irene is very sharp with who is taking care of her. We weren't happy with that part. We solved that problem with a sign in sheet for who comes in.

I just like the assurance. I have complete confidence in them. They pick up on things that she does and doesn't like, and they do things that will make her day, like listening to music.

We are using Right at Home for my mother-in-law. It has been three months now. Working with them has been very easy. They have been very helpful. They always show up when they say they are going to. Any followup has been taken care of very efficiently. They come in three hours a day two times a week. The only thing my mother-in-law needs is companionship. She lives with us in our home and so we take care of all of her other needs. Basically it is just for her to have a companion to talk to other than us. It is excellent and pricing is also comparable with other agencies.

I live on the other side of the county, which would take me twenty minutes or more to get to the Village. If something comes up, all I have to do is call the agency, and they will take care of it.
They've never failed to respond to anything that my father has needed. I've been able to call the agency at any time, and they've been able to take care of issues immediately.

The only thing I can say is that we had one person who came here two or three times, and she was new. I did not have to explain things to her two or three times, which was helpful.
I do not know if they can train people to do the same kind of job, but we have had people we really like and some people who were not as capable with coming in and with knowing what to do.

He does not need them daily. They help getting him to and from appointments.
They have provided everything we needed for my dad. I needed them to pick him up from the emergency room when the ambulance took him. They went there and took care of him. They made sure he was settled in. They picked up his prescription.

My husband has dementia and they always reached out to engage him in activities and conversations. They played outside with him with the dogs, and they just listened to him.

They help with medication reminders, escort her to the dining room in the community, and sometimes they will just come in and visit with her and see how she is doing. They have been providing her with more care with getting dressed. They escort her to doctor appointments and anywhere she needs to go.
