She gets the help and socializing she needs.
We have used them for a long time so it's because of the longevity. My mom didn't want to make any changes.

The services weren't that good because she stopped showing up.
They should have been more in contact with their employees because my caregiver stopped showing up.

I have missed so many appointments because they haven't been able to send someone.
I need a lot more rides to my medical appointments. I need them to pick me up and no one is available to drive me. I tell them when I need someone in advance, but they still tell me they don't have anyone to drive me.

They swept one little spot in the floor. They didn't clean.
They actually charged me for a full hour when a girl came out to my house for 15 minutes.

My life would be so horrible if I didn't have them! My caregiver makes me want to get up in the mornings, and at my age, that takes a lot.
I like the personalized care and knowledge of the office workers about my situation.

They are absolutely necessary. I just keep trying.
I know how difficult it is to get people to work and depend on them. I know that is beyond their control. I do not know if it is their pay scale or benefits, but they cannot maintain an army of workers so that there is any continuity with my care.

Our caregivers were supposed to help us with light housekeeping and they didn't. They didn't help with laundry either. We also had it set up for them to come until 3pm. They were supposed to help prepare dinner before they left and get that set up. They would set it at the table hot at 3pm and when dinner time came it was cold on the table. They could have tried to do something else so that it wasn't just sitting there for three hours out on the table.
The caregivers that the company sent didn't do the work.

My grandmother and mother live together, and my mother is physically unable to do things like bathing. This is a perfect solution because we have someone we like and who grandmother is comfortable with. It's extremely helpful.
I like the fact they've been very good at replacing the nursing assistant who comes if my grandmother has not flat out clicked with them.

There were a couple of times Victoria couldn't be there, and they were never able to find me a substitute, so then I had to miss work.
I liked Victoria. She was so totally awesome. I loved her to death.

They need to work harder on training their caregivers on their attitudes and how they talk to the clients. None of the caregivers wear masks.

He is actually getting better because of their care. They give him motivation. He has been trying to recover for two years. It is harder to get up and walking when you are just at home. The caregiver, Jackie, motivates him, gets him up and moving, and gets him to drink water.
I recommend them all the time. They communicate, they are well trained. They have medical knowledge. The first caregiver wasn't a match, so they sent a new one for us the next day.

She has somebody picking her up and taking her places. I know that she is being taken care of.
They were willing to work with me about getting in contact with my aunt and get her signed up. They are cooperative and answer my questions.

They have made it easier for me.
They try to send in the same individual every time, which is good and the lady that goes tries to help my mother remember things and continue to keep her mind active. She does her meals and takes her for walks.

We couldn't have continued passing the doctor requirements if we didn't have someone sitting with my father in the evening.
They were extremely quick in their responses, and the two women always did confirmation and follow ups on the phone.

Everything is going alright. They have helped by getting people in to help Presley. Lately, they have been pretty good.
We had a few problems a while back, but that was just with people that didn't show up. They need to try better to get someone here when I need someone here.

I take him to the store with me, but when I go to get groceries, I go to more than one store. He will get tired, sit by the front door, and wait for me. One time, he waited in the care, and when I went to look for him, I could not find him. He was out in front of the store looking for me. After that, I knew that I could not leave him by himself for too long of time. Then I reached out to BrightStar Care. I am able to go shopping and not worry about him being alone or afraid.
I trust them. They have always been very capable. I feel like if I needed to ask them to do anything, they would do it gladly.

They were excellent in finding the appropriate caregiver based on her personality. She's well educated, and my loved on prefers a more mature person.

I can't really stand or move around. They are so responsible in remembering things and doing it. They take the initiative.

They finally got us a male caregiver, and he can handle my loved one. The girl caregivers could not lift him, so I would have to do that for them.
They are doing pretty well, but I have a couple issues about the management. They are not perfect, but they have chewed me out, and my wife as well, about a couple things.

It almost cost me my job because I had to leave and take care of them because they did not do what they said they would do. A client shouldn't have to call three days in a row and still not get a single phone call back.
They are not dependable, and they do not do well in their job and or fulfill their side of the contract. I am dissatisfied with the customer service.

It has enabled my loved one's family to get out of the house more, run errands, and have somebody there with them. They can bathe my loved one and do things that they cannot physically do.
They have just been very helpful when I call, and they always listen. They try to adequately meet our needs.

They help me the most by being available whenever I call them. The company is even willing to find me someone to help transport me to appointments.
The caregivers have been knocking themselves out to please me. I'm so pleased with the caregiver the office sent me.

Not only is the caregiver capable, but the administers are very good about communicating and responding to anything that comes up.

My loved one is very dependent on the caregiver that gets him ready in the morning and takes him to the center in town. My stress level is so much less than it was a couple months ago.
I recommend them all the time. The caregivers are trained well and polite. I call them BrightStar Care angels. It's one of the best places in our area.

They cleaned out the refrigerator and labeled different things. They didn't just sit around; they kept themselves busy. The caregiver came along to a doctor's visit and she was great. She was knowledgeable and helped get my loved one there. They were very useful and great. It had an impact on our lives more than on her. We knew she was in good hands during the night, and that was a huge relief.
At the time, we were calling around trying to find care. It was a time sensitive situation, and they were able to start right away. They were able to do an assessment. They responded with a sense of urgency.

One of them was used to dealing with people with more disabilities, but my father-in-law doesn't need much help.
The ladies that they sent were very friendly and on time. They didn't have a lot of notice beforehand, but they have always found someone.

When someone is handicapped, they need to make sure that they can be there for them.
They were supposed to have care for us five days a week and the caregivers would only show up for one, maybe. I just could not depend on them.

They came in and took care of my mom so that we could go about our daily business. There were a handful of aides that did a really great job after we got the right fit.
I am very pleased with the manager of the company for going out of their way to accommodate us. He tried to get people in there at the last minute and they worked with me on the billing side. He was very cooperative, friendly, and nice. He never said no to me.

The caregiver they sent to us, at first I didn't understand what to expect, then after leaving a list for the caregiver, my husband relates to her very well, and she does whatever we ask her. They come once a week and help me have my free time. They come for only six hours, so I am able to leave the house.

The care depends on the area I live in because some areas don't have enough caregivers to support the people there. However, I think the caregivers are good and reliable. When I call they are always there and they are very polite. They listen to me and try to understand the reason of my call.

I enjoyed the caregivers and I have several caregivers, but we had one or two main caregivers that was great. The caregiver was on time, changed his bed sheets, cleaned the bathroom, and followed the care plan very well.

They are very responsible and provide great care. My driver has brought a blanket to put over my knee on cold days. It has been just above and beyond. They not only take me places, but they pick up my groceries for me. When I got the flu, the supervisor came and picked up my groceries. If I had known about them before I had surgery, I would have been using them earlier.

They are prompt in giving me care. The aides are always on time and they do not waste time. I can really depend on my caregiver. I used to never know if I was going to get care but now they are very clean and efficient.

BrightStar Care was never on time, except for the initial interview. The first caregiver that came asked if she could leave and go get something to eat. When I said I needed some additional care they told me that would not be a problem, but the caregiver said they couldn't help. They could have offered me more assurance. I had no confidence that BrightStar was doing anything for my loved one. I wanted them to shave him and help him eat and they were not doing any of that.
