I have been using this company over two years. They don’t have a clue of how to run a company that is supposed to take care of elderly people. When your regular sitter has to be off and they are supposed to send someone they never show up and the office reply is we are trying get someone but no one will answer their phone. Here is a tip if they don’t answer fire them and get dependable employees, or maybe fire the managers that make all the money and don’t take care of the employees.

am using the service offered in rainbow city alabama. have used them for about 2-3 months. JUST FIRED THEM !!!! no shows , missed appointments . total lack of communication. left alone in grocery store, mistakes in billing hours not corrected. i would never recommend these people as pet sitters let alone people sitting. ! very unhappy and will tell anybody who will listen

My husband was on Hospice for 13 months. One week home from the hospital we HAD to change agencies. Our daughter called Home Instead of Rainbow City. The best change ever made. Home Instead started immediately. The schedule ranged from 24/7 to 6 hours 6 days a week. Never an issue with changing the schedule to add or reduce hours due to his health. Never had to worry concerning a shift being fllled. The caregivers became family. Juanita, the director, is the most caring in-charge person we have had the pleasure of knowing. Haley and Britt are excptional. The caregivers are extremely efficient and honest. Their concern did not stop when my sweet husband went to be with Jesus. They still care. Their slogan, "To us, it's personal" fits them perfectly!!!

We had just undergone a situation where a privately retained caretaker was financially exploiting my mother. We contacted Home Instead and was very impressed with the professionalism of the staff and the safeguards they have in place. My mother and I have been very pleased with the caretakers that you have supplied.

The lady who runs the Home Instead office came out and spent a lot of time with us to understand what her needs were. She was very friendly and thorough. She understood our concerns and when she brought someone to the house, she introduced them to my wife. They're staying with my wife when I travel and there was a good transition. The folks who come have done what we've asked them to do and have done well. My wife is relaxed and feels good with them there. They might cook or prepare meals, make sure she gets her medicine, and checks her blood pressure on time, and provide some companionship so she's not by herself.

The caregivers from Home Instead are very nice. They come in when I can't be there and help provide my dad with breakfast and lunch. They make sure he takes his medicine and they also provide companionship.

The caregiver, Hope Cook, is very kind and caring - going over and beyond her requirements. We also like that if Hope is not available for some reason, that the agency will send someone else that they/we know is professional and has gone through a background check. We have not had to use this additional help, but knowing it is available is a comfort.
