Visiting Angels Living Assistance Services are just a group that kind of gives you a break. It is more like companionship. They just mainly do minor little chores. They do not do any nursing. I have been using them two or three months off and on; usually it is just once a week. The service is very good. It is just that I cannot afford more care than that. I mainly just needed someone to stay with my husband, and I expected them to help me do minor chores, but they did not. The minimum of care is four hours when you get them to help. Sometimes you can get by with just 30 minutes to run somewhere, but you have to pay for four hours. I am not disappointed. I just wish it would be different. I have really enjoyed them. I think if I were to use them all the time on a regular basis, that they would be able to send the same one all the time.
