Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

I wanted someone to come in and do a good job of cleaning. I wanted the same person to come so that we could build up a rapport with them. Then they could get to know me and what we like so they can better do what needs to be done without telling them how to do every little thing.
They came in and attempted to clean. They could get someone to come in and stay, I had at least four different people in the short amount of time that I used them. I had four different people come in and the only ones who really did a good job were the directors that came in because others didn't show up.

My caregiver does all the different things that I used to do for my wife which I like, and I can relax and do things outside.
One thing that I like about this agency is that the caregiver is very pleasant, and she does all kinds of things, and my wife really likes her.

My mom is in a wheelchair, so having someone I can safely leave my mother with is very important.
We have one lady that comes regularly, I like the consistency. She does a good job and my mother likes her; that is the main thing.

They stay in touch on a regular basis. They let me know if my caregiver is going to be out of town and they provide other caregivers when needed.
They offer a great quality of care. The caregiver that the client has, Alex, is amazing. She has been with him for over a year.

The services allow me to get errands done and leave home without worrying about my mother.
So far, the caregivers have always been on time and they make an effort to make sure they know everything about my mother's routine.

At that point, I was able to do my own housework. They stayed with me when I took a shower, and that was good. I've never had anyone take care of me, so it was a new experience for me, too.
I'm not sure if they knew what they were supposed to be cleaning. They did it, but I could tell they weren't happy about it and would have rather helped me.

I was able to have a daily life and they did whatever I asked of them. They were attentive to my dad, listened to him and took care of his basic needs. They know what my dad liked and didn't like and they went out of their way to make sure he was happy.

My parents were disillusioned by the bill and by how much it was.
I was taken aback by them. They could have improved the communication process. There was not enough information give about how the service was going to take place.

My mother is pleased with the services that she receives. The caregiver we have does an excellent job with my mom. She respects and listens to her. She is a perfect match for my mom. She is kind and consistent in her care. The office is very nice. They are responsive to questions that we have.

They have made it positive by being flexible. The CNA recognized that my loved one was severely dehydrated, so they took him to the hospital and that was very positive.

I can't be there all the time for my mom. We had a situation where the caregiver called me to let me know she wasn't doing well, so I was able to get there.
They are there, and the person is always on time. My mother is pleased with the services that she receives.

When we first got setup, they had it set up so payments were automatic. I liked that. There isnt really anything they could have improved on. I look for someone who is compassionate.

We want people who helps her get out of bed or help her up if she falls.
All they do is watch my sister. They don't really help her at all. If something goes wrong, they call someone else to take care of it.

The caregiver has been sick or their child has been sick quite often and not able to come. They have to call me a lot to help out with how to deal with my loved one's dementia, which is not giving me a break.
I like the fact that they were willing to work with me about the type of caregiver we thought would work best with my loved one.

They helped her and watched her at night so it was redirecting her if she got confused if it was daytime.
They could have just better training with the sitters on what to do if there is an event.

My dad has issues falling out of his wheelchair and I have 3 children of my own so I don't have to go sit with him at the nursing home. It's been a huge help.
I already have recommended them, and I like that they've been to my dad's doctor's appointments. They're really personable, nice, easy to talk to, and show real concern for my dad.

The problem is they're expensive. We probably won't be using them because we've had to find someone cheaper, otherwise, he'd run out of money. They took care of my loved oen while we were gone.

I liked that the caregiver are on time and I was pleased in the way they where able to administer my loved ones medications. They helped me out a lot because I wasn't able to give him his medication because he wouldn't remember to do it himself. I also had a sister I had to take care of.

We didn't have much time with them, but the owner was very knowledgeable and personable. The caregiver was really good with my mom. She lived in an assisted living facility, and I was just trying to make sure someone was with her all the time. The facility staff couldn't be there all the time. I don't know that the caregiver had enough to do.
