About This Community

At Cumberland Crossings, our residents find endless opportunities to remain active, stay healthy and age well. To us, wellness means keeping fit and strong in every way — physically, socially, intellectually and spiritually. We believe staying engaged with people is very important to overall wellness, so we make it easy. Games, card clubs, book clubs arts and crafts sessions, interesting presentations, education, special events and scheduled trips are just a few of the many planned activities we offer.

As a continuing care retirement community, we provide a full range of exceptional lifestyles: independent living, personal care, traditional nursing care and rehabilitation meaning you are in control of your lifestyle no matter what happens.

While Cumberland Crossings is a retirement destination, it is so much more than just a place to spend retirement years – it’s a place to engage . . . it’s a place to relax . . . it’s a place to live among others who share similar interests. It’s no wonder why our residents say, “This is the Way to Live!”

Cumberland Crossings is in the Carlisle area so I like that it's close to my local physicians and medical people. They have a flexible meal plan where you don't have to have every meal in the dining room, but you get 20 meals a month. It has nice cottages, but everything is expensive. They have a pool and they have a program where you can sign up for bus trips to go to meals and things like that.

It was a community with separate homes. They had a nursing home and health assistance to people to needed something less than a nursing home. The staff was helpful. It was not crowded. It had lots of spaces between the facilities. They also had different activities.
