Rockhill Mennonite Community was my first choice. It’s newer than the others, and they’re still building at some places. I was impressed that they have an indoor heated pool, you can use it during winter, and they have hot tub and exercise room, all in an activity area. The dining area is enclosed. You could go to all the buildings without going outside. They have trails for people to walk, and parking spaces. They have greenhouses, outside raised beds which they assigned to individuals who want to have a garden outside, and they have a couple of resident artists there. They have some apartments available, and they have studios up to 2-bedroom. They have an afternoon concert occasionally from outside groups that come in, they have bus trips, and weekly trips to the grocery stores. They also have some different physical activities like yoga and Tai-chi, and they allow small pets. The staff seemed friendly and interested in people which is good.
